Laundry Duty [Tag: Hercules]

Megara was in and out of the palace gathering all the dirty linens and clothing from the rooms of the palace. When she got her final trip done with, she went to the bank of the river; that was near the palace and began to wash the things she had gathered. Just a normal day in the life of a servant.

Hercules snuck into the Castle yard and looked around himself, trying to find Meg. He finally spotted her washing clothes and smiled he made his way behind her. He wanted to surprise her, sure it might mean that he would hold her in the process but he loved her smile. He hugged her from behind and rested his head on her shoulder, "Miss me Meg? He asked in her ear, he could 't help but notice that she smelled good.

Meg was caught up in doing her work, she wasn't listening with her ears and Herc had caught her off guard. She lightly flushed a shade of pink, when she heard him whisper in her ear, but she had a smile on her face.

"Oh course I have silly"

She said with a tiny giggle as she wiggled her way out of his arms, so she could get back to doing the laundry.

Hercules laughed and moved to sit next to her, "What you don't like it when I hug you?" He asked with a smile

Meg shook her head.

"No, no. I like it; its just there is work to be done and I don't need someone distracting me"

Hercules frowned and then watched her work, "Can I help? After all I am supposed to save maidens in distress." He said ligntly

Meg giggled and leaned over and kissed his cheek.

"No worries, I'll be done soon; lover boy"

|| Had to say that! My replies are going to have to continue in the morning, because I am so tired. Thanks to just 5 hours of sleep today. See you tomorrow. Night ♥ ||

Hercules blushed and looked down, true they flirted but this would be the first time she had kissed him....well on the cheek at least. "All right I can wait." He said and moved out of her way.

Meg just flashed him a smile and began working again on her job of the day. It wasn't to long before she could say she was finished. It was easy to get everything done when Herc actually listened to her and stayed out of her way. She laid the last bit out to dry as she smiled.

"There finished. See it didn't take that long. You should listen to me more often Herc"

Hercules laughed and stood up, "Oh you know you like it when I distract you." He teased before he helped her carry the load of laundry, "So any chance you'll slip away from your job, to go out with me?" He asked.

"Well now that I am done, with what needs to be done, I suppose I could slip away for a few hours to hang with you." She said with a smile as she looked at him.

Hercules smiled triumphantly, "I'm glad to hear that, you'll love the place we're headed too." He said confidently as he smiled down at her.

"Oh will I?" She asked as she looked at him. "Where we headed?"

Hercules smiled down at her, "My place." He said with a wink.

|| It wasn't really an interview. I just had to turn in my applaction at 3 and then they will call me within the week to set up an interview.||

"Your place? Lead the way." She said to him with a playful smirk.

Hercules smiled and offered his arm to her, "Right this way millady." He said indicating that he would lead her to his place.

Meg took his arm, giggling and followed him to his place.
