Marina was raised into a wealth family, being only child. When her father realized he would never have a boy, he instructed Marina into many topics, like politics, war and how to wield a sword. She had a deep bond to him, and her life changed the night her father was murdered. Since then she yearned for revenge, and once she got into the Council, it turned easy to find out the truth, and the murder of her father.
Personality:
Marina is a kind person. Sometimes she puts the others above her, and she cares about people in the land. She’s also one of the youngest in the Council, and she has both feet on the ground, knowing exactly what she’s doing. She doesn’t hate the royals, and she’ll do her best for people into the reign. No one knows about her dark secrets, her memories, and who her father truly is. She's always seen with a bright smile upon her face.
Family & Relationships:
John Rolfe: Beloved-snapped-almost husband. Her principal point of getting closer to him was to find out his weakness to her revenge. She believes he's the killer of her father, and she tries to make him confess his crimes sometimes. Her feelings about him are twisted, she both love and hate him. Deep down she knows what feeling is stronger, but she didn't admit to herself. Marina started getting suspicious on John and Odette, and hired Flynn to investigate them. But before she got any new about it, she dismissed him, not wanting to know anything about it, and she tried to trust John on that. But on one meeting with Princess Charlotte, everything went down, and on the night they broke up their engagement, John confessed what Marina wanted to hear.
It turned out that John was being sincere in everything he talked, and thanks to Fa, Marina saw the mistake she did. She was left alone, and by that time she learned she was pregnant with John's child. After a souple of days, Marina met John, who by that time was with Odette in did. They made up and Marina told him she was waiting his child. On that metting they decided the name of the baby, Damon. And also from that day on they tried to be frinds for the child.
After a couple of months, on one rainy night, Marina was walking alone at the beach when she heard somebody. It was John. They shared a passionate kiss, and that night they came back together. Also, on that night, another thing happened. Listening to Marina, John looked after Odette, and when he came back at the mansion, he was another man. It was the first time he snapped, and trying to pull Marina away, he killed two of her maids, including Amelia, the maid that stayed with her for years. She almost lost Damon that night, but she didn't give up on John, because she knew she loved him. When Damon was born, John became that sweet man Marina knew, and they came back with the wedding plans.

But Marina's love for her son is bigger than a little detail like that.
Jasmine: Friend. Marina met her once, by the river. She looked very sad, and as they talked, Marina realized they had many things in common. Marina talked her whole life to a stranger, and Jasmine did the same. They trusted each other in a blink of eye, and Marina found out Jasmine is the girl Prince Phillip loves. She knows her friend is into a delicate place, and Marina wanted to help her. The first thing she did was taking Jasmine away from the place she worked and hired her as Damon's babysitter, but Marina wants to do much more for her, because she felt a strong connection with her.
Aladdin: Friend. Marina met him on a Court session. They were interrogating James Hawkins, and John brought the tan boy to the Court as if him could make James confess his crime. What did happened was that Marina saw herself at the boy. Aladdin loved James, a violent person, like Marina loved John, not much better than James. At the Court, after James was put into the jail, Marina tried to consolate the boy, but afraid of he could think she was faking her feelings, she preffered not doing it. However, after a couple of days, she looked for him at his place. Marina learned many things about him, and tried to make him see that Fa wasn't so evil as she looked like. After Damon was born, Aladdin almost gave her a heart attack. One night she found him at Damon's nursery. They talked, and shared another moment, when Marina adviced. She hopes he finds his happiness, like Jasmine, Marina connected with the boy, and she cares about him too.
Grandomother Fa: An old family's friend, Fa is like her true grandmother. Cassim's family was old friend with Fa's, and the woman was also responsible of putting Marina's parents together. Since Cassim's death, Fa took care of Marina somehow, and she was the one who gave Marina the idea of becoming a member of the council.
Odette: She saved her life once, and she grew some affection for the girl. But since she found out about John Rolfe and Odette had already met before, she didn't like her so much. She feels a little threatened by the blonde, because she has similarities with John that Marina would never have. One day at the river side, Marina met her again, now they both engaged. Marina started being less worried since then, and the two women brought down five of Joseph's henchmen. After the ball, Marina started getting suspicious about her and John... And she lost her ground when she found out Odette and John saw each other naked. That and more other things, important things were the reason of her breaking with John. During the time Odette was with John, Marina didn't want to look at her face, she was hurt, and got angry at her. But as soon John came back to her, Marina's bad feelings vanished about her old friend, They were both at the night when John snapped, and Odette helped her a lot. After Damon was born, they met many times, and they talked about many things, including Odette being suspicious of being pregnant with John's chil, which Marina helped her to see she wasn't. Later on another meeting, Odette told her that she was pregnant with Michael's child. Marina at first got scared but after she tried to understand her. Odette also helped her on one big day. Marina was trying to commit suicide, because of her nightmares and hallucinations, but Odette helped her to see what really mattered, and on that same day, Marina saved her when Joseph tried to mess with them.

Marina tries to get her trust with gentle words, but she doesn't believe they could be good friends because of her feelings towards John. Flynn Rider: Besides being a thief and a spy, Marina thinks he has a good heart. He works at the council, mostly for John, and she hopes he'd be together with Belle. She thinks what they have is pure, nothing like what she has with John. Flynn also taugh Marina about self defense at Belle's class. Flynn is like a brother to her, and Marina was more than glad to be the one who helped him deciding how to propose to Belle.
Cale Winchester: Old friend. Marina thought he was lost, but one day she met her old friend again at the harbor. He tried to flirt on her, but Marina was able to recognize him after all those years. She was glad for meeting him again. Cale was her only friend, closer to her age when she was a teen, she also was friend of Jane, but she liked to be more closer to man. She invited him to sail a couple of times with her father and she had a lot of fun with him those times. After all the years they were apart, on the day they met again, Marina noticed the years weren't so good to him also. He looked sad, and kinda of lost, and Marina got worried about him. She has no idea of the crimes he commited through these years, and don't even imagine he killed Jane.
Dimitri: Member Council. Marina has a friendly rivalry with Dimitri at the Court. They are the youngest members at the Council, and smotimes they agree on the same idea, other times a war is set between them. She was fine about him until the moment Dymas went missing, to Marina and Fa, Dimitri acted weird about it, and Marina got more suspicious about him when she saw the strange calm expression at Dimitri's face when he saw Dymas rotten body at the house.
Queen Leah: Queen Leah is like a mother to Marina. Whenever Marina has doubts about something, she knows she can count on the queen for wise advices. She had already got some advices, but Marina is stubborn, and as much the queen's words moved her, she are still focused at her goals.
Prince Phillip: Marina met him once at the garden, and she thinks that the boy is the main reason of why the royal family is getting unpopular among the people. After the little talk, Marina hoped that she could put some reason into his head.
Tulio Ranko: Marina loves the theare, and admires Mr Ranko play. One afternoon she met him at the town square, and she simply loved the chat they had.
Sir Phoebus: Brief meeting at the tavern. She didn't like him so much, he asked many questions about what the council do, and she thought he mocked her, or she was just too drunk to understand what he meant.
Sinbad: Thief. Marina doesn't like him at all, speacilly when he learned he stole one ship from his father. Marina still remeber the day when her father got furious at home, yelling to everyone that tried to approach him. On the say she finally found her 'new' ship back, Marina had a brief moment with him, and all she noticed anout him was how arrogant and cocky he was. Marina got back a small chest that belonged to her father, and her old shel, now belonged into Damon's nursery decoration. She was also promissed that Sinbad was going to work for her, but once a pirate always a pirate, and Marina will look after him very closely.
Cassim Dalmar: Father, murdered. He was everything to her, and her best friend since her mother was dead when she was a child. Her father taugh her all she knows, and he was her rock and her idol. Her world crushed when she saw her father dead one morning. He was killed, and since then she wants revenge upon his death.
Regina Dalmar: Mother, deceased. Regina got seriously sick when Marina was 4, and she didn't recovered from it. Marina doesn't remember many things about her mother, except for some images, and her voice. marina can remember of her mother's voice clearly, and also a simple lullaby she used to sing to Marina to make her sleep.
Sara: Dymas' daughter. Dead. Marina doesn't want to hurt Sara, and she'll help the girl to make her dreams come true, mostly because this will hurt Dymas as much her father's death hurt Marina. Sara will be her spy, and will play a decisive role helping Marina to find out the truth behind Cassim's death. One day, Marina and Flynn broke into Dymas' house, they soon noticed the rotten smell coming from inside the house, and they found the bodies at the living room. Marina felt really sorry for her, and for her friend, Fa made sure she and her father would have a decent burial.
Dymas: She hates him because he was the one who decided to kill her father, and because he wants to bring the royal family down. She wants him to suffer more than she had ever suffered since her father's death. After Marina found out the truth about her father's murdering, she decided to forgive. Her revenge brought nothing except pain. She forgave Dymas for what he did to her father, but she also threatened him. She told him if her or her family got hurt, the information would go directly into the King's hand, she wouldn't made the same mistake her father did. She also demanded that the punshiments on John would have an end. She hated everytime that John refused a job he was punished with lashings. A couple of months after, Dymas started missing the coundil meetings. Marina thought he was planning something against her, so one day she asked for Flynn's help ant they broke his house. Marina wasn't very sorry for seeing him dead, she was a little relieved even, because first, he wasn't a threaten for her anymore, and two, she finally got justice for her father's death.
Michael Korso: She met him once while he was executing a man. She tried to help the injuried man, but Michael cut his head off in front of her. He recognized her, and tried to strangle her. She scratched his face, and run from him while he called "I'll see you around Marina. Very soon" . She can still hear him in her mind, and she's afraid of meeting him again, not only for her life, but also about his knowledge of her past.
Joseph Korso: Cassim's murder. Marina met him briefly at the ball, and unfortunatelly she got a second meeting, when she was closer to deliver Damon. One day, she heard some noises from Hercules' mansion. her neighbor died heroically at that ball, and she thought his cousin, Lina was inside. She wanted to help her, in case she was in pain, but instead of finding Lina, she found Joseph. She told him she forgave him on what he did to her father, but she was facing a Korso. He slammed her at the floor, and she thought he was going to kill her, but instead he just let her go. On that same night, Damon was born. After, on the day she tried to commit suicide, Marina met him again, but she wasn't alone, seeing a four months pregnant Odette was walking with her. First she got scared of him, but then when he talked on paying a visit to her son, something inside her woke up. She warned him to let them alone, but he only ignored her, and tried to hurt Odette. Marina jerked the dagger from him, and with its hilt, she knocked him for enough time so Odette could call for help. He woke up and slammed her at the ground, but instead of her being scared, she was quite calm, while Joseph looked surprised.
