Lady-in-waiting to Princess Melody
Story:
So, Eilowny isn't a typical lady-in-waiting. She's a poor girl, raised by a single father, who's an inventor. Although his inventions tend to fail more than succeed, so they've been down on their luck for a while. Luckily, the King and Queen decided to give poor girls a chance for a better life, so they started employing some of them as ladies-in-waiting to teach them how to be ladies and to give them some status. Eilowny is the lady-in-waiting to Melody. She's enjoying life so far in the castle and hopes that she can succeed well in her job.
Personality:
Eilowny is quiet when you first meet her, but if you get on her good side, she'll open up more. She's friendly to everyone she meets. If you piss her off, she'll still act polite, but she'll give you nasty looks and what-not. She's very responsible adn is determined to be a good lady-in-waiting, despite her low stature. She can be a little cynical at times, particularly since she's gotten a little harassment because of her previous social status. But she tries to not let it get to her. She's already very close to Melody and thinks of her as the sister she never had. Although she's supposed to try and stop her from pulling pranks, she can't help but turn a blind eye from time to time because they're so hilarious. Sometimes Melody will drag her along to pull one off, and she can't help but participate out of love.
Family and Relationships:
Maurice: Eilwony's father. He's a little cooky at times, but he does love her daughter, and she loves him. They don't get to see each other very often because of her job, but they write to each other constantly, so they don't miss each other too much.
Melody: Eilowny's "master" in a sense, although their relationship is more friend-like than anything else. Eilonwy cares very much for Melody and looks after her as much as she can. Despite there being a few years between them, they're still very close. Eilowny accompanies Melody almost everywhere she goes. It is her job, after all. She often gets dragged along one of Melody's pranks, which she takes in good stride.
The Royal Family: Eilonwy isn't particularly close to the rest of the royal family, but she does respect them, of course. They gave her this opportunity, after all. She acts very proper around them and holds them in high regard. If she hears anyone complaining about them, she'll set them straight.
