Personality and Background:
As the heir to the throne of Nirethia, Philip is supposed to act responsibly and pay attention in his lessons of the laws and duties he needs to know and fulfill as king. However, Philip is much more interested in the other aspects of being the crown prince. He enjoys the privileges that come with his title, the girls who throw themselves at him(of course that's not just due to his title
) and the many gifts he often gets from people. Philip is just a fun-loving, charming young adult who constantly plays down his intelligence and avoids taking part in any of his princely duties and responsibilities.
He does love his family very much, but he doesn't always show it with certain members of his family. Despite the way he acts, and unknown to practically everyone, Philip is quite moral, he just plays immoral extremely well. No one really knows who Philip really is deep down, and most of his partying ways and avoidance of his duties comes from the fear and apprehension he feels about taking the throne. Philip acts like a rebel child and a playboy, but he is really the complete opposite. He also has a hard time trusting people and has a difficult time opening up to others.
Deep down, Philip is quite the romantic and a bit of a book worm. He has read hundreds of books from the castle, several of which involved the handsome prince rescuing the beautiful princess and falling in love. Philip's best and closest friend is actually his trusted and noble steed Samson and Philip likes it that way. He's really a very shy person, which is why he pretty much becomes a whole new person in public.
As the prince, Philip has been instructed in politics, fencing, horseback riding, and much more since a very young age and he has even learned some other forms of fighting during his late nights out. He is very intelligent and clever, but fools others into thinking otherwise with jokes. He has a kind heart but keeps it hidden from those he meets, making them think he's just playboy. He is currently engaged to a princess in another kingdom, much to his chagrin. Most just put it under him not wanting to settle down, but really it's just because he has never met this girl and would much prefer to marry some one he really loved then some one that could help his parents form a political alliance.
Family & Relationships:
King Stefan: When Philip is not hiding from his father to avoid lessons, he is fighting with him about the future. He does respect his father, but most likely his father has no idea.
Queen Leah: He loves his mother very much and only occasionally, and very lightly, argues with her if she brings up his future. She is one of the only people he really hates to argue with, and he his able to open up the most to her.
Princess Anastasia: Philip is constantly squabbling with Anya, often about the most pointless things. He does care for her, but he never lets her see that. He will always protect her though and keep all her secrets. Being twins, Anya and Philip are very close, which is good in some ways but annoys Philip in other ways, like that she knows how to push all his buttons and knows everything about him. He can't hide himself from her.
Princess Melody: Philip absolutely adores Melody and will occasionally par-take in some of her pranks. They've grown some-what apart as he's grown older and been out more, but if she needs him, he always makes time for her.

Sara: He met her on one of his outings to avoid his parents and responsibilities. He doesn't usually venture to the town on said outings, but this time he did, and upon spotting Sara, decided to strike up a conversation and just playfully flirt with her. They ended up spending a fair amount of the day together, and having a good time, as well as sharing a couple kisses. He then dropped her off at her place, and said his goodbyes. Sara doesn't know who Philip really his, she only knows him as Phil. Philip likes Sara, and had a very good time with her, and she really helped him relax and forget about his problems.
Jasmine: Philip ran into her when he was out avoiding his responsibilities one day. They squabbled a bit and then prepared to part ways when a wolf came across them. They took off on Philip's horse and ran off until they were safe. They then spent the night talking together and fell asleep next to each other, waking up in each other's arms. They dropped Samson back at the castle stables and Philip escorted Jasmine back to her home where they were interrupted by his mother. They parted with a brief kiss and a promise from Philip to meet again. Philip finds Jasmine extremely intriguing, very fun, and of course, absolutely beautiful. Although he was already against his arranged marriage, Jasmine as made him hate it even more. He really hopes he can see her again. Even though Philip introduced himself as Phil and avoided mentioning who he was, Jasmine eventually figured out that he is in fact the prince, creating yet another obstacle, but after a fight and some time apart, they are now going to try and make things work.
Marina: Philip doesn't have too much opinion of the council woman, he mostly just views her as another adult who doesn't understand and pushes too much onto him, and maybe also blames him for the current views of the royals by the public. He doesn't hate her or like her, just avoids her like all his authority figures.
Odette: He ran into Odette on another escape from the palace when he went to the harbor. They chatted for a little while, or rather Philip vented about his problems and Odette listened. She gave him advice before they said their goodbyes, loosely agreeing to see each other again. Although Odette had her suspicions, she never actually figured out who Philip really is. Philip thought Odette was nice and appreciated her advice, and hopes that it will work. After another meeting with her, during which he decided he was going to be a better prince and future king, he promised Odette to start by helping her by arresting the man who raped her. He currently thinks of her as a friendly acquaintance.
Belle Rolfe: Philip met Belle when he was traveling in woods. They started off cautiously, her especially, but they slowly become more and more comfortable with each other. He didn't tell her who he was straight out, but she did figure it out eventually. Philip likes that Belle isn't bothered by his status and talks to him like just another person. They also bonded over a couple similarities in their lives. He's glad he found a potential friend as he has very few good, close friends.
Aurora: One of the closest people to him outside his family. They met when she was 10 and he was 9, and they became close friends quickly. She soon came to work at the palace, and they only started spending more time together. She would show him some ways to sneak out, occasionally going with him. Philip is very protective of her, and would hurt anyone who hurt her.
After confronting Aurora about the story she told Marina about what happened with Dimitri, and then later finding Aurora at the river with Dimitri, Philip and Aurora kissed, making Philip very confused about his feelings for her, and for Jasmine. He doesn't know who he is in love with anymore, and, more importantly, he doesn't want to hurt either girl.
Dimitri: Philip never had too much of an opinion about the council member, until he found out he had slept with Aurora. He had heard it was rape from her, making him infuriated and he stormed the court and punched Dimitri. Despite cooling off some thanks to Marina, he still left not liking Dimitri, particularly his smugness and not seeming to care at all about having hurt Aurora.
