Story:
Esmeralda was born and grew up on the streets along with her family. But at the age of 5 her father suddenly vanished one day and she was taken care by off her two uncles.
Her faimly's reputation has haunted her since the day her mother was accused for witchcraft and sentenced to death. She was too small to remeber that day though, but she can still recall the flames and screams of her mother being burned alive.
Even if the council and royals and most of the villagers forgot about her being the dauther of a "witch" Esme is suspected being one anyway. Though she can only blame herself, since she never really care to try and prove it wrong. No, she openly shows how intrested she is in sorcery and withcraft. If it hadn't been for her uncels keeping track of her, she would've been burned a long time ago. Although, having a few small ''tricks'', how long will they be able to protect her?
Personality:
She is a fearless young woman, always speaking her mind and won't let people push her around, even if it means death for her.
She could care less what people may think of her, even if it could lead to her getting in big trouble. Growing up with Clopin, maybe his crazyness rubbed off on her.
She's wild and adventoueros, never afraid to face danger straight on. She enjoys life to the fullest apparently, and she never really complained about her low status. It's like all the reputations about her and threats goes unnoticed by her. In her eyes, she's freer than anyone else in this city.
Family & Relationships:
Clopin: Uncle/"adoptive" father - As a child, Clopin was her idol and hero alongide with Facilier, her other uncle. Even though their overprotectivnes may get a bit out out of hand now, she still looks up to him. But that doesn't stop her from keep getting herself in danger all the time.
Facilier: Uncle/"adoptive" father - Just like Clopin, Esme has always looked up to Facilier as well. Too bad the two brothers can never get along and in her opinion they fight like married couple.
Since Faci is the only one encoaring her about her ablities she happily tries to learn from him as much as possible.
Flynn: Brother-Sister Bond. She respects and adores Flynn, always telling him all her secrets she hides from her two overprotecting uncles.
John Smith: She finds him really intresting and therefor likes to follow him around, just to irritate and see how he'll react. The fact the he's a knight doesn't seem to bother her at all...
Phoebus: Another ''stalking object'' as she likes to call them. Yea, she seariously enjoys stalking knights and risk getting her life.
