Background:
The Once-ler has always lived in Nirethia, but on the outskirts. He's been a hermit, creating things in his home. Most people know about him. But they never wanted anything to do with him. He is kind of crazy. The guy is cocky and stubborn and doesn't listen very well. He believes in everything supernatural and will not hesitate to express how he feels. For the first time in a year, he will show himself during the carnival, ready to show off his newest invention. If he has friends, they might ne a tad embarrassed to know him but he loves talking about them. Mostly to tease them that they know a crazy person. He's quite a con artist and will scam you for your money before you can even realize it. He's had a far away eye on this girl in town. He doesn't have a chance with her. Not from where he stands and what he's seen. Then again, he's had an eye on a lot of girls... His family? Eh, they don't really matter. They kicked him out once he was 16. Hasn't looked back.

He does things without thinking a lot of the time. He can be sympathetic but...most of the time...no. He's boastful and eccentric and thinks very highly of himself. And why not?? I mean, he is pretty good looking! He never looks in the past and barely ever thinks of the future. He lives in the now. Nice thinking for a hermit, eh?
