Talk with A Korso (tags: Eric)

''Not like him?? I've punched the boy from the tavern, just like Joseph did to me last night... Please, don't say I'm not like him...'' He said defeated, still looking towards the ground

Odette sighed and then leaned over and touched his arm, "You have to believe in yourself Eric.....you're better then him. You don't have to go down that path, even if you are a Korso." She said quietly.

''I don't know what else to believe anymore, Odette... I just imagined how would be this meeting with him, and then it figure it out it wasn't anything like I imagined, that the father once I idolized it's nothing else than a monster'' He said quietly, and didn't look up when she touched his arm.

Odette looked down, "You don't have to believe that you will become a monster. Don't give up on yourself just yet Eric." She said quietly.

''You can't understand this feeling, Odette...'' He chuckled bitterly... ''All my whole life I was a bastard, dreaming of meeting my real father, and wondering if I was like him, and when I finally know who he is, he's this brute...'' he whispered frustrated, looking upon her.

Odette squeezed his arm, "You can't believe you'll turn out like him simply because you're his son." She said quietly before she let her hand fall.

''I want to believe you, Odette, but I'm lost right now... All I believed of is gone...'' He whispered looking towards the ground again.

Odette nodded, "Well just don't give up on yourself too fast all right?" She asked as she got up and stumbled a little bit, her stomach hurt again. She winced but refused to show that she was in pain, "It was nice meeting you." She said.

Eric looked upon her, catching the moment when she winced... ''Do you need any help?'' He asked gently.

Odette inwardly cursed, "Uh no...I'll be ok. I kinda took a little stab wound a few days ago...no big deal." She said and tried to blow it off.

''How did you get stabbed?'' He asked surprised, and he got a little worried towards her.

Odette laughed, "Some guys thought they could take me in a fight....they had to use a knife." She said with a shake of her head. "Generally I could have taken them out no problem but I got distracted." She said after all Phoebus had come into the scene.

''You figthing with some guys?? There is something I couldn't bring up by myself...'' he chuckled and looked upon her with concerned eyes, the eyes he gave to her mother everytime she complained about her back.

Odette just looked at him calmly, "Well when you have to fight to survive...you do, but you do it because you're driven." She said quietly as she studied him.

He turned his gaze away, not standing her eyes... ''I think you don't need help to go back to town...'' He said quietly.

Odette rolled her eyes, "Obviously I don't...I'm not like other women. Just to make things clear though, one day you'll have to decide for yourself what you want." She said quietly before she turned to leave.
(annd leaving it open if you want to stop her or something XDD)

Eric watched her for a while as she left. She was right about everything, and someday he'll have to decide who he was going to be, but right now he had some easy things to decide. He jogged lightly reaching her after a moment...

''Right now I want to make sure you'll go home safe... I might not be the right person for it, but I'm still my mother's son'' He smilled shyly and walked by her side.

Odette smiled, "Well good that'll make my fiance feel better at the very least." She said with a small laugh.

''Your fiance??'' He tried to look disappointed and then he laughed lightly... ''What does your fiance do?'' He asked a little curious.

Odette laughed, "He's the Captain of the Guards and a Knight, he takes his job very seriously. He's one of the few who actually serve the law." She said quietly.

''The captain of the guards?'' He opened his mouth slightly... ''Well, I've always wanted to be a knight, but since the night Joseph beated me, I lost my faith on them... Perhaps your fiance could help me somehow.'' He gave her a genuine smile.

Odette smiled, "I know he would love meeting you, I can probably arrange something if you'd like?" She asked.

''I would appreciate that very much'' Eric said with a small smile, remembering of what Vanessa talked about knights, but she said she would still like him.

Odette grinned, "Well good, I'll do that then." She said with a wink.
(can we have some action? Like fighting action? XDD)

He smiled back to her. He was all lost with all the stuff that happened to him, but somehow it looked like things were going back to the trails again.
