Jim's breaht caught in his throut as he watched Al fall, moving one second to late to grabb him.
He tripped over his own feet and slumped down on his knees, quickly looking down from the building. Seeing the awning must have been in the way, he started to hope, and quickly made his way down to his friend.

"AL!" he burst out, throwing himslef down to his side.
Shit shit sit shit shit, he thought, his heart beating faster in terror seeing Aladdin's condition. He was still breathing, there might still be a chance...! But, moving him maybe was the best? But not doing anything either wouldn't help! WHatever he did, he ha to do it fast, before anyone saw him.

The figure beside him was hazy, wavering in and out of focus as Aladdin laid there. He knew he was dying. No one could lose this much blood and be okay. He couldn't hear anything except a loud, sharp ringing in his ears. His head hurt...Hell, everything hurt.

But, he knew that would be over soon enough. His body would give up, and give out. If that awning hadn't slowed him down, he wouldn't have to suffer now. But, he was used to suffering. This was no different.

He tried to focus his eyes onto the boy beside him. With a rough swallow, he managed to choke out a small, I love you. Then, he felt his head get heavy as he lost more blood, coughing up some in the process. He let his eyes roll closed as his consciousness slipped from him, leaving him to appear lifeless, though a faint heartbeat could be felt.
