Ta Ta For Now [Tag: Jasmine]

((Sorry for the stupid title.XD I couldn't think of anything.]

As Naveen and Jasmine neared the club, he slowed them down until they were no longer skipping, just moseying down the street. He straightened their arms out and brought his hand down to hold her hand, and then started playfully swinging their hands between them. Every few steps he would smile blissfully down at Jasmine and give her hand a light squeeze before turning his head back up to look ahead of them. "Well, here we are," he said as they stopped just in front of the club. He looked up at the club as he turned his body to face Jasmine, still holding her hand, and then looked down at her with a content smile.

Jasmine giggles as she curtsies, one hand still holding his and the other on her now ruined dress. "Why thank you, good sir. You are by far, the greatest escort I've ever had..."

Naveen chuckled as he bowed to Jasmine, keeping his eyes on her face while he brought her hand close to his lips. "Is that so?" he asked, raising an inquisitive eyebrow before kissing the top of her hand, smirking up at her. He laughed lightly as he stood back up, swinging their hands between them again, smiling boyishly content.

"Though you are my only escort,so that makes you the best." She grins before watching him kiss her hand. Her memories automatically went back to the very first kiss her and Phil shared. Right where they stood. Jasmine smiles at him, but looks away for a brief moment.

Naveen's smile falls as he watches Jasmine, and sees her turn away, his brow furrowing in confusion and concern. "Everything okay?" he asked gently, rubbing the back of her hand softly with his thumb.

"Yes!" Jasmine smiles back at him. "Just having flashbacks, that's all~!" She giggles before her hands escaping from his. She replaces them on his cheeks. "You are the greatest guy a girl could ever wish for. And I am so grateful to have you." She tells him before embracing him.

Naveen was about to make a joke when Jasmine surprised him with the embrace. He hesitated, only for a second, as she hugged him, but quickly returned it, wrapping his arms around her waist and bending his back a bit so as to let his head fall onto her shoulder, turned in so that his nose rested at her neck. "You're pretty great too," he whispered, resting his chin on her shoulder. He then pulled back, only a bit, so that he could look into her eyes, his hands resting on her waist. "And you will surely make some guy feel incredibly lucky," he added, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips as he finished. "That is, if you can possibly find anyone worthy," he said with a small laugh, but meaning every word. "And hey, I'm always her to knock out a few of the contenders if they won't go away," he went on, backing out of Jasmine's arms and swinging his arms around, flexing his muscles, playfully and sending a wink in Jasmine's direction.

"Thank you..." Jasmine whispers, a smile planted on her cheeks. She watches him with an amused eyebrow. She grabs his arm, laughing. "Woah these, Twinkle Toes! We don't want you to break a nail." She giggles at him. However, the boy did have a great bicep suprisingly. Maybe he wasn't as girly as she teases.

Naveen laughed with Jasmine as she grabbed onto his arm, feeling his heart rate increase at the contact. "I'm touched that you care so much about my delicate nail beds," he said jokingly before laughing again. His facial expression then turned serious as he looked down to Jasmine's face, a warm smile on his lips as he reached up to hold her hand and give it a gentle squeeze. "I am always here for you," he said softly before kissing her cheek lightly and then playfully nudging her in the side with his hip and smiling cheekily.

"I know." Jasmine smiles before nudging him back. "Thank you, for everything that you have done for me."

Naveen's smile grew at Jasmine's thanks and he wrapped an arm over her shoulder, pulling her close and resting his head atop hers. "Anytime," he said softly. He then pulled her around to give her a full hug, squeezing tightly and holding her close. "Good night," he whispered as he hugged her. He then pulled back and smiled at her playfully, holding her arms. "and I will see you later," he said, giving her a wink before kissing her cheek and then slowly turning around to leave, smiling as he turned and kept his gaze on her. He continued to smile for a few steps before it slowly fell as he felt a deep pang in his chest make itself known, and he wrapped his arms around his body, clutching his chest with one hand. It hurt to be so close to her, and yet it hurt to be away from her. Naveen was pretty much in a lose-lose situation here.
