Tale of Love (tag Sara)

Dymas shut the door to his home and leaned against it. So much new information, but he still needed to know more. His mind still lost in his work he went into the kitchen, meaning to grab something to eat before going over more papers in his bed chamber.

"Your dinner is on the table" said Sara as she stand put a doorway. She still wasn't happy with her father. She sat down on a chair.

He hadn't even noticed her, lost in thought as he was. "Sara." He said softly, as she sat down in a chair. "Thank you. The Council has taken alot out of me, and I'm not as young as I used to be." He tried to joke, trying to close the gap that gaped out between them.

Sara look at him with anger in her eyes "Who cares" said Sara as she place her arms around her chest.

Dymas sighed. She got so mad so easily now a days. "Sara..." He said cautiously. "Have I ever told you how your mother and I first met?"

Sara look up at her father "No" said Sara. She didn't care that much right now.

Dymas glanced from his papers to his daughter before looking down at the dinner she had made him. "We had never met each other before the wedding day. We had always just heard about each other from our parents. Even on the wedding day your mother tried to run away, but was caught of course. Even after we were married for the longest time she refused to have anything to do with me. She was stubborn, and believed that she could not be forced to love someone she did not." Dymas glanced at Sara. "You are so much like her Sara. More then you probably know."

Sara look at her father "I don't think so" said Sara. She did like that her mother ran away, she whated to do that with Sinbad.

Dymas smiled, the first real smile he had in a long time. "The fact that you are disagreeing with me still and are refusing to budge shows just how similar you two are." He looked over at his papers again, and the smile disappeared. "I'm afraid you are too alike your mother."

Sara stand up "If I so like her what did I from you" asked Sara as she look into her fathers eyes.

Dymas looked her right back in the eyes. "That gaze probably, the way your eyes look when your angry. My own stubbornness mixed with hers as well, otherwise you are the spitting image of your mother, looks and personality. You didn't inheret too much from me."

Sara didn't now what to say "Father maybe you should get some rest" said Sara as she grab her father's hands.

Dymas looked at Sara in surprise, then down at their hands. "Yes I probably should... I have not had a full night's sleep in... at least a fortnight. All these reports have clouded my brain lately..." He glanced back at the stack of reports he still hadn't gone through then to Sara. "You really are just like your mother..." He murmered.

(ooc: he is almost 50, had to make him a little senile haha xD)

Sara smile a little "I can do your reports dad" said Sara as she help her father up.

Dymas let her help him up before realizing what she had said. "No, no. It's just strictly council business. Besides it would probably bore you dear." He looked at his daughter and smiled. "Though thank you for offering to help." He made his way toward his bed chambers. I won't let her know the truth behind the council, I won't put her at risk, yet.

Sara look at her father as he walk away. She started to look at the papers. She wonder why her father didn't what her to look at the paper.
