The girl who cried Wolf (tag: Jim)

Lina wandered into the graveyard, not certain where she was going, but decidedly somewhere quiet as she was a bit tired from all the calamity in the town.

((ha, smart title ;D))

Jim yawned loudly as he straightened up and letf the grave he ahd been stadig by, leaving the flowers above it. Long day, he'd couldn't wait to get to his bed and blosk everything else out.
Noticing a momvemt from the corner of his eye, he turned to see a girl walking around all by herself.
"This is not exactly a safe place to be alone in," he said blanky to her.
Hearing something behind him, he looked oevr his shoulder quikcly but saw nothign and therefor just shrugged it off. It was surely only the wind...

Thumbelina jumped and turned around seeing a boy standing alone and she relaxed. Then he turned around as if he had seen something behind him but she watched him shrug it off. "What?" she asked, obviously referring to the tense way he was looking around.

"Nothing, just I heard something," he mumbled more to himself than her, looking behind him again. Wehn he didn't see anything this time either he walked up to the girl instead. "Visting someone?" he asked boredly, refering to the graves.

"Maybe... i wouldn't know." she said suspiciously, glancing behind herself as well and thought for a moment that she saw something move in the shadows near a group of large tombstones. She shook slightly as she turned back to the boy and asked "Who are you?"

"Jim," he said shortly, following her gaze. Maybe they should leave...
"You can tell me yours on the way back, it's usually not safe around here," he mumbled and turned to leave.

((sorry, it's late over here so I'll be going to bed now^^; i'll reply tomorrow again ))

(ooc: okay thats fine! its like 8 pm here so I'm gonna go read or saomething anyway or maybe someone will want to talk to me on forsaken bloodlines

"I'm Thumbelina, " Thumbelina volunteered as she followed him and glanced to her right anxiously towards some trees on the far side of the graveyard as she saw some rustling in the bushes. Thumbelina walked closer to Jim and tried to breath normally.

"Hey Jim? Do you feel like your being watched?" Lina asked quietly and just as she finished there was the loud howl of a wolf in the air. The sound pierced their ears sharply, obviously sounding from nearby. Thumbelina froze and stopped walking. She turned around to see a big grey wolf growling at her, no more than 15 feet away.

Just as Jim was about to answear, the loud howl of a wolf pierced their ears and he turned around sharply, bringing out his gun out of reflex. "Holy shit," he breathed out surprised at the big wolf closing in on them. "The hell did it come from?" he mumbled more to himself than her, automatically pushing Lina behind him.

Lina cowered behind him and she felt a bit safer behind him and his gun. "Do you think it's dangerous?" she asked staring at it.

He almost rolled his eyes at her question, but kept his gaze locked on the wolf as it kept on walking closer to them, making him take slow steps back. "Judging by the hungry eyes and the loud growling it's making, I'd say yes," he said flatly.
Then the wolf suddenly jumped at them. Jim fired, shooting it right between the eyes.
"Fuck that surprsied me," he sighend out and turned around to Lina, to his horror seeing other wolfs not far away from them.

Lina screamed when the wolf jumped on Jim and hopped back as Jim shot it in the head. They both turned to see wolves behind them.

"What do we do?" Lina asked in a panic as she counted the three wolves in front of them. She hoped Jim was a good shot.

Again, he pusdhed lina behind him, shifting his aim at the three wolfs appraoching them. He didn't have that many bullets... and if he ahd heard right there was more than these three wolfs close by. Shit...
"Are you a fast runner?" he asked, looking at eveyr direction for more danger or an escape.

"Yes," Lina replied, "But that might be a problem." she said looking at the wolf near the street out of the graveyard.
"Do you have enough bullets for all of them?" Lina asked.

He quikcly looked over the wolf at the street and cursed. "No, I don't," he said sharply and garbbed her hand. "I'll just ahve to sue them wisely," he said and before running off to the streets with her, aiming the gun at the wolf and fired.
The wolf cried out when the bullet his it's leg, giving them enough time to run past it.

Lina ran quickly with Jim, grabbing his arm while they ran so she wouldn't stumble. The wolf dropped dead and she muffled her scream. They ran past its carcass and onto the road. Lina tried to catch her breath when another wolf jumped out in front of them and lunged forward at her.

Jim reacted only a few seconds to late and pushed her out of the way, raising the gun to shoot but got tackled by it and missed, dropping the gun in the process.

Lina screamed when Jim dropped the gun and threw herself at it in a panic. She looked up at Jim, but all she could see was the wolf atop him, clawing and scratching, but she couldn't tell if he was getting injured or not.

"Jim!"she screamed looking up and then panickly tried to remember how to fire a gun, Herc had taught her once but she could barely remember that day.

At the moment, Jim was still injured, but how long coudl eh keep that up?
The wolf atop of him was bigger than the rest, for nto tot alk about it's brute strengh. And Ji was still pretty hurt from all his fights so he didn't have enough strengh to try and kick it off of him.
he tried to reach for his knife, but if he moved his arm his the wolf would go for his neck...

Thumbelina fumbled with the pistol before she finally figured it out. She pointed to the wolf and pulled the trigger. The bullet burrowed itself into the wolf's back and blood spilled onto its fur. The wolf fell to the ground beside Jim and and lay there panting.

Lina dropped the gun and fell to her knees. She was distressed realizing that she had just caused a living thing to bleed.

Jim quikcly pulled himself up and took a deep breath glaring at the wolf bleeding to death.
He quikclu made his way over to girl and pulled her up. "You ok? Come on, we gotta move!" he said hurriedly.

(Ike? She's so cute! They r opposites. O.o)

Lina stood numbly as Jim pulled her up.

"Okay." she said blankly staring at him, her hands over her chest.

((Hahah xD wodner this will work out for them... x3))

He gave her weird look and dragged her laong after him, he could figure out what was wrong with her when they back to safety.

Lina followed after him calmly, trying to to cry. She stumbled and scraped her leg, also leaving a tear on her dress.
"Seriously?" she mumbled, hopping up again to continue walking with Jim.

He sighend when she fell over and kneeled down beside her. Normally he would have left anyone behind if they slowed him down, but he wasn't that heartless now was he..?
"Here, climb on," he told her and turned around, motioning for her to get on his back.
