Story: Michael and his brother, Joseph, grew up their first years locked up in their basement. They never knew anything about their mother or life outside, only about their alcoholic father who had treated them like trash and prisoners. He would constantly beat them both up, just for his own amusement.
Whenever Joseph tried to stand up to their father or protect Michael, the younger of the twins got punished for it… in a slightly different way.
So the main reason he hates being touched is because he was sexually abused by their father. Then one day Joseph snapped completely and managed to kill the man, resulting in them finally being able to escape.
The twins had always been very dependable on each other, especially Michael. While Joseph started enjoy the killing more and more, for Michael it was just something he did, neither liking it nor disliking it. He most of the time just stayed in the shadows, following his brother anywhere and letting him do whatever he wanted.
When they both met Evangeline, Odette’s mother, Michael hated her. He was worried his brother would leave him behind, even though Joseph kept assuring him that he’d never do that. However, as Joseph grew more obsessed with the woman, Michael’s fear only grew. He was tempted to kill her off, but managed to restrain himself. Realizing he was too close with Jospeh, too close even for twins, he decided he wanted to try having a normal life and tried to leave everything behind. Which Joseph didn’t like. At all.
So he first tried to convince Michael to stay with him, that they would always be together whether they liked it or not. When Michael still refused to stay, Joseph killed off his wife, Jim’s real mother. But instead of lashing out in rage towards his brother, he simply accepted their fate and quietly went back to him, knowing better than anyone that he would never be able to bring himself into hurting his brother.
Personality: Unlike his brother, Michael is very calm and collected. Most of the time. He’s still very cruel and cold to everyone, almost always expressionless. However, he still shares the same insanity Joseph has, and enjoys making/watching other people suffer and never as much as blinks when he kills them.
He has his ways of knowing everything about everyone, and is always prepared for anything.
