Story: Suyin was born in a wealthy family in a land far away from Nirethia, across the sea. Her father was a powerful and respected man and always took care of business and trades with the other countries.
Since there was no son in their family, and Fa being the oldest of three daughters had a lot expected from her. Her father always wanted everything to be perfect, and was never happy if things weren’t at its best. So at an early age she was taught how a lady should act and not do. She never liked it, but kept her mouth shut and never complained while growing up. After all, a real lady kept quiet and only talked when asked to.
She was never close to her family, while she was locked inside her room studying her two younger sisters were out having fun, and her mother’s greatest worry was always what dress to wear. And her father was for most of the time away on business trips, only coming home to see if everything was going according to his plans.
She never felt any love in that big home. Not that it really shocked her, since her parent’s marriage had been arranged. But she simply learned to accept that’s how things were.
The few things she enjoyed was politics and affairs who her father had made her study to help him out with, but only until she got married so her husband could take care of it later. She was just going to be a good wife with a pretty face and give her husband worthy hires.
She didn’t start to worry about that until after her mother had passed away in an accident, and her father suddenly brought home a man. A man who was worthy of her hand, as he had claimed it. She had barely turned 17 then.
The closer the days got to her wedding day, the more she was starting to worry. Her furute husband was greedy and cruel man, and hade a weakness for pretty young girls. The only reason her father had seen him worthy enough was because of the money.
Then only a few days before the wedding, her father got into a terrible and unknown accident, much like her mother had. Since she was the oldest child all the power and fortune was left in her hands. Feeling free and unstoppable she breaks off the marriage and for the first time in her life no one but her has control over her own life. After having split up all the fortune with her sisters, they all packed up and separated, Fa taking the first boat to Nirethia where she started her new life.
At first, her only goal was to continue with her father’s affairs and trades from there, but soon realized she wanted to try and make a change. She wanted everyone to be equal, especially between men and women. She had quickly made herself known in this new town and enjoyed every minute of being independent without a man at her side, which also gave her some bad reputation. Not like she cared.
Along with a group of other people, she started the council, being the first woman to take a place among men with power who thought women only belong at home. She ended up being in the council the longest and also managed to change some of the old rules.
If there was something she’s always stood for it was change. And change things she would do.
Personality: She’s always been independent and liked to try out new things, always unafraid and never backed down to make her voice heard where she’s the least wanted.
Being seen as a rebel, she's both disliked and liked by the people, sicne she does all the tings a lady shouldn't be doing. She's loud, talks back, enjoys partying, has a major attitude, insults the higher ups (if there still are any) and do men's work. She's also quite stern and always carves for everyone to do a good job, there will be no failuers with ehr around, and there's no slacking off when it comes to work in her presence. Yet she can still be really easy going and sarcastic.
