Behind his mask [Tag Odette]

Dimitri walked around the harbour aimlessly, deeply in his own thoughts. He now knew where the twins was thnaks to Ariel, and the king had alowed him to try and take care of it. Ha, so naive... liek he'd honestly care about catching them. However, they still fasianted him, and perhaps he coudl ahve soem sue of them as well...

Odette made her way to the harbor on Angus and smiled when she saw Dimitri standing there, she slid off of Angus and walked forward. "Hey Dimitri, its been awhile." She said with a gentle smile as she patted Angus's mane.

Comming back form his thoughts, he turned half way around and gave the woman a smile. "Odette, what a nice suprise," he greeted. "How you've been doing? I've heard alot of... stuff's happen while I was gone on a buisness trip..."

Odette laughed, "Like what?" She asked as she gave Angus a final pat on the neck before moving to stand next to Dimitri.

"They caught that boy who was behind that massacre at the ball. Haven't you heard yet?"

Odette's face froze, "Wait what? When did that happen?" She demanded, her heart was pounding and she felt like someone had kicked her in the chest...not Jim...

He raised an eyebrow. She was firneds with that teen too? Well he sure got around well for being a masskiller.
"Rolf got to him, and he was being more dificult so we sent him t prison to let the king handle him."

Odette winced, she was worried for Jim, "Has he said why he killed those people yet?" She asked softly.

"Hmm... He keeps telling us that he was the one behind the whole thing alone, that he snapped. But two of his close firends keeps saying that he was forced to do it."

Odette sighed, "That's because he was...and he won't say anything because he doesn't want the twins to target his friends. That and I think...he's just tired of trying." She said quietly.

"I see..."
Odette knew alot about this it seemed... Better for him.
"I'm afraid it won't enough to help though. I mean, all those people he killed... I'm sorry, but the whole town wants him dead. We'd need more evidence."

Odette frowned, "I know..." She said softly and thought about it, she was torn. If she gave the Council evidence she ran the risk of having Michael getting caught...and since he was injured he would be vulnerable. Then there was Jim...she couldn't let him die either...she cared too much about it.

He stuided her clsey, she looked like she was torn between something. "You seem conflicted about something. Everything alrihgt?"

Odette smiled, "Oh yeah...I was just thinking about stuff, so um how much longer is the Council going to wait before they decide Jim's fate?" she asked quietly.

"Since we're working togheter with the royals on this case, I can't really say. But... it won't be long before they do. And if we don't cathc the real culprits before that then I'm afraid theres nothignwe could do to help the kid."

Odette nodded, "That makes sense....and hopefully the evidence you need will turn up." she said softly as she studied the ground.

"At this rate. No it won't," he stated. "But aw well, what can you do? Guess Jim will just have to take his punshiment this time."

Odette felt faint, "Oh right." She muttered, since time was running out...what could she do?

Dimtir was at her side, looking concerned. "You sure you oke Odette? You look stressed out and exahusted. Anything I can do for you?"

She blinked, alittle bit surprised at how fast he had moved, "I'm fine....its just been a long week." She said, that was the understatement of the year. She was amazed she had even survived the things she had...but dhen someone was looking out for her

"I'm sorry to hear that. If there's anythign i can do, just say the word," he offered her a smile. "Odette, I couldn't help but notice but... are you a firend of Hawkins as well?"

She smiled and nodded, "Yeah...yeah we are actually, he'll probably deny it but he's saved my life a few times...and he truly does care for those he knows." She said softly.

"Yes, i've noticed. In fact the only reason he was caught was beaucse Rolf threatend to hurt one of his firends. Pretty cowradly done if you ask me..."

Odette's whole frame tensed, "Of course he did." She muttered darkly, John was still acting like the cold, heartless bastard...she was now even angrier at him then she had been ever.
