Another Lady-In-Waiting (Tag Pocahontas)

"Weel, there are kings who'd solve thing like that, not that it worked so well but they did it anyway," she said. "And yah, it
d'd be kinda ufn to watch, as logn as you don't get stuck in bewteen."

"Well, good thing our king isn't like that," Eilonwy said. At least, she hadn't seen him act that way. From what she had seen of King Stefan, he was always dignified in public. "Oh God no, I hate debates," she said. "I know they're for the good of the kingdom and all, but from the way Melody's described them, they sound very boring."

"Then your princess is right. They really are boring," Poca nodded. "But 'boring' it's just a part of being a royal."

"Good point." Eilowny had heard adults stress to Melody many times that doing things she didn't want to do and taking care of the boring stuff was all part of a princess's job. Of course, Melody always argued then that she may do it, but that didn't mean she had to like it, which always made Eilonwy chuckle. "At least they have friends like us to make things a little more fun when they're not doing royal duties and stuff."

Pochontas scracthed her cheek and glansed away. She wouldn't exactly call her and Cinderella 'friends'. Thye din't dislike eahc other or anything... they just never really talked. What a lady-in-waiting she was...
"Yeah, right."

Eilonwy saw Pocahontas' moment of hesitation. Did she say something wrong? Maybe she and Cinderella weren't on as good terms as she was with Melody? She didn't know. Although she did know that few princess bonded as closely with their ladies-in-waiting as Melody had with Eilonwy. But the two had just seemed to click instantly, which was probably a reason why the King and Queen had chosen her. At least, that was what Eilonwy guessed. "Um, well, I should probably be heading back inside," she said. "Knowing Melody, she's probably cooking up some kind of prank. I'll see you around!" She gave another curtsy before she hurried off. Who knew that she would make another friend in the castle? And such an interesting one at that.

Pocahontas simply waved after the girl as she hurried up. She'll admit, Eilonwy did seem liek a sweet and fun girl, Poca wouldn't mind tlakign to ehr again sometime. And she was little jelaous. She really should try and do ehr job better as a lady-in-waiting, no matter how boring and unfitting it was for her.
