Just Stopping by (tag: Herc)

Thumbelina was tired from dancing, and welcoming the boy Taran into her house, that she wandered to her cousin Hercules's house. She walked thought the from door and shouted his name.

"Herc?! You there?"

Hercules heard Thumbelina's voice and hurried out to greet her, "Hey Thumbelina! How are you?" He asked as he neared her.

Herc entered the room and Thumbelina smiled, "I'm good, you?" she asked cheerfully.

Hercules smiled, "Much better, so what's up?" He asked as he gestured for her to sit down.

Thumbelina smoothed her skirt and sat down. She looked around the familiar house and smiled.

"I haven't talked to you in a while and I met a strange boy today..." Thumbelina told him wistfully.

Hercules smiled, "Well tell me more about him...maybe I can help." He suggested as he sat down.

"Well first I ran into him." Thumbelina said, blushing at her unusual clumsiness.

"And then I started talking to him, he's fifteen, I think.... Anyway he was odd, he didn't talk much and when he did, he spoke like an elderly man, very proper and poetic. It threw me off a bit." Thumbelina explained.

"After all of that I asked where he was staying, and he said nowhere. I couldn't live with that, so I invited him to be my guest for a while..." Thumbelina said the last bit quieter, expecting a lecture from her cousin.

Hercules just stared at her before he spoke, "Let me get this straight....you invited a weird male stranger to your house...without knowing who he was??!" He demanded looking very angry.

"Well, he seemed so, lost... and I..." Thumbelina said lamely. She knew it had been a bad idea but he seemed so helpless but didn't care that he was, and she had to offer him a room in her mansion.

"Besides I doubt he could harm me, hes thin and look like he could blow away in a heavy wind." Thumbelina said as if that made matters any better.

Hercules pinched the bridge of his nose, "Ok Thumbelina we need to have a talk about allowing strangers into your home. First off appearences can be decieving, so even though he might have looked skinny he might be a whole lot tougher then he looks." Hercules said as he tried to explain how dangerous it was.
