Ariel is a big girl now ~

Ariel didn't say anything, but after a short moment she started to smile at him and stood up.
"Fine.. whatever" She shrugged while she walked over to the other bed and laid down with her back towards him. "good night, Jim" She said softly, but looked at the wall and sighed slightly

"Oh come on," Jim sghend a little frustarted now. He sat up on the bed and stared confsed at her back. Did he say something stupid again?
"If it bothers you that much I won't mention it ok?"

"Thank you.." Ariel said before she turned around and looked at him.
"I'm just confused right now, and I don't know if it would help if you talk about it.." she said quietly with a little shrugg

He smiled softly, letting her know she could talk about anything with him. "About what exactly? You knoe you can talk to me about anything."

"Not about this" Ariel shook her head slowly and smiled softly.
"I wish I could, but I can't.. " She sighed slightly and looked down

Now Jim was starting to get a little more concerd. He pushed himself of the bed and walked over to hers. "Hey now, what's wrong now? Please tell me so I can at least try to make it better. Was it something I did again?" He asked softly as he sat down by her side.

"No.. or I don't know" Ariel sighed and looked away from him.
"It's just that.. I think.. I mean.." She said hesitantly and closed her eyes while she took a deep breath. "I think that I'm starting to like you more.. But like I said, I don't know- so forget it.." Ariel said without looking at him once and shrugged.

Oh..... Oh. That would explain why she got so upseat over a simple kiss. That made him both worried and... happy, to hear actually.
He kept his expression blank though as he listend to her.
"Keeping all this lockd up to yourself won't make it any better Ariel," he said gently, careful not to sya anything stupid. Well what could he say in this situation?

"So who can I talk to about this then?.. You? Ha!" Ariel laughed forced and shook her head.
"And we both know that it's stupid.. Everything about it is.." She smiled soflty at him before she looked down again.

"Then who else then? You that everyone would say 'he's not worth it'," he frowned, couldn't help but feel slightly hurt at her words. "And why is this stupid?"

"Well, you know.. We are friends, and we don't want to ruin that. We both know you can never stay with just one girl, and I am definitely not your type.. " Ariel shrugged blankly once again.

Ok, so she did have a point there... but Jim wasn't sure he even had 'type' when it came to girls... he just slept aroudn with anyone who offered.
He sighend and ran a hand through his hair. "Ariel, you know I care about you the most. You're not those others girls, you're so much more than that."
He didn't really kow what he could say at this point...

"You mean -I'm more boring and nagging than the rest of the girls?.. And I understand why you don't want to be with me like you're with them. Not even I want to be with me.." Ariel forced another laugh by the thought of it and sighed.

"Don't be an idiot, stop comparing yourself to those sluts," he snapped. "I've always prefered your company than anyone else's, don't just go around and asume things that aren't true."

Ariel sighed and rolled her eyes a little when he didn't saw. She knew she shouldn't had said anything about this, it just made everything so complicated.
"Fine.. Whatever" She shrugged after a moment and glanced at him.
"So what should we do now?.. Be away from each other until I know how I feel about you?"

[Ooc: you know, I never liked this paring either O_o but this is diffrent xP]

"Ariel..." he said quietly, serious and stared back at her with narrowed eyes. "I'm starting to think you want to be away from me."
They barely even saw eachother as it is, and everytime they did it always ended with them deciding they'd would take a break from seeing the other. "Wahtever, if that makes you happy, then fine," he mutterd and stood up.

"What?" Ariel looked back at him with a confused frown.
"I just told you that I maybe like you more than just a friend, and you think I want to be away from you?" She said, and didn't know if she would be sad- or angry at him.
"No.. That's not true"

"Then what would make you happy?" he looked back at her, almost sounding desperate at his point. "I'll be honest, this does make me feel a little awkward, and stupid for being the one that makes you uncomfortable..." he sighend tiredly and rubbed his head. "I knwo I'm being selfish, but you're the only one I can rely on... and I hate having to stay away from youa ll the time," he confessed.

"I don't know what would make me happy" Ariel burst out and sighed.
"But I do know that I don't want to be away from you either.. Even if you don't like me the way I like you - we are still friends.." She said quietly and ran her hand through her hair.

"I'm sorry," he apologized, regertting having snapped like that. He really did ahve some serious anger issues... "...I understand this will be a little complicated... so we'll do waht you think it's best... athign you see is best..."
