One Good Deed Deserves Another (A Odette and Flynn shared fanfic)

Odette almost laughed at the cruel irony, of course their exit would be memorable. That is, if they escaped...she hadn't quite realized he was holding her hand either until he squeezed it, she would have commented on it of they weren't being chased but she didn't. She glanced back and frowned, the men were gaining on them, she winced she didn't like the odds of survival.
(Ooc....just had to add the holding hand comment XDD)

Flynn stops, letting go of her hand. He looks back at the men who were completely surronding them. He bit his lip, knowing he was going to regret it later. He took off his satchel and gave it to Odette. "Keep it safe at all times will ya?"

Odette glared at him, "This is not the time to be heroic!" She snapped at him, even as she took the satchel from him.

"It's the perfect time actually." Flynn says before kicking the tube door open and throws Odette in just as the men were going to grab both of them. They grab Flynn instead and try to follow Odette but they weren't as small as her so they couldn't fit in.

Odette wasn't that surprised when he shoved her down the drain, once she emerged from the other end she glanced back up. She was angry for him sacrificing himself like that, "You can't get rid of me that easily Flynn." She growled as she got up. She hurried away from the scene clutching the bag to her as she thought of ways she could rescue the man.

"Flynn Rider... It's been a while." A man says, pushing through the guards. His sluggish lips turned into a smirk and he folded his oversized arms.
"Nice to see you again Mr. Silver." Flynn says, as one of the guards forcefully made Flynn look up at the red face man. "Looking heavy as ever. Cream puffs? A little too much of German chocolate from your mistress?" Mr. Silver only chuckles as a guard punches Flynn in the stomach before forcing him to look up again. Flynn only coughs, his stomach painfully flipping.
"You know, not until this afternoon did I know you were coming?"
"Oh..?"
"Yes. A very helpful tip gave me the inside on your next assignment. I asked them why they would give me such information and they said it was for their own enjoyment, can you believe that?" Mr. Silver chuckled as Flynn racked his brain. Who, other than Odette and his employer, would know about the assignment? A servant maybe? Flynn burrow his brows in upset before looking up at Mr. Silver's comment.
"Who was the girl Flynn?"
"What girl? I see no girl.." He is once again punched in the stomach but he refuses to let any information out.
"You're a tough cookie, Rider. Now who is the girl and what did she take?!"
"The only thing you truely care about." Flynn grins, remembering the specific document Odette took with her than in his satchel. "By tomorrow morning, you're going down Mr. Silver. You and you're wealthy buisness." Mr. Silver glares at Flynn before personally hooking Flynn in jaw, almost fracturing it, and turning away angrily. "I want him dead before noon tomorrow. Be creative." Mr. Silver disappears in the dark. The guards, forces Flynn to his feet and drags him away to another location.

Odette had disguised herself as a lowly peasant woman after giving the information to her employer. She was not about to allow Flynn to go through torture or worse. She entered the area where she had last been, her eyes widened in horror when she saw a set of gallows being made in the courtyard right in plain sight. Her eyes narrowed now time was of the essence, she smirked as she saw the entrance where Flynn had led them inside. A plan was starting to form and Odette needed to plan fast...after all Flynn could die because of her and she was not going to let that happen.

Flynn throws a rock against the stone wall, causing another scratch, and it bounces back, a few pieces chipped off.

How are you getting out of this one, Rider? The lead Bandits voice rang.

"They're is no getting out from this one..." Flynn mumbles, throwing the rock again.

So you're just giving up? Accepting faith as it is? I'm disappointed.

"You're dead and I'm crazy for talking to you." Flynn says, shaking his head and getting up. He paces around the room before the afternoon bells started to ring. He looks up, thinking of something before the guards unlocked his door.

"Hear ye, Hear ye!" An announcer calls from the stage of the gallows. "Gather around! the main event is about to begin!"

Odette grimaced when the announcer started talking, How can anyone enjoy a hanging? She wondered angrily as she listened from her spot near the entryway. She smiled as she heard the guards who were bringing Flynn out, she heard the slight twang as one of the guards stepped on her tripwire. Seconds later the guards who were escorting Flynn from behind were brought down by sleeping darts that had pierced them through the neck. Another second later the other two guards in front expierenced the same fate. Odette smirked and stepped out from her spot, "Miss me?" She asked Flynn with a wink.

"I thought I told you to go.." Flynn says raising a brow before grabbing the keys from one of the guards with his foot and kicking it up to Odette's hands.

She snatched the keys and started uncuffing him, "You honestly thought I would let you die?" She asked with some hurt in her voice, she wasn't that mean....was she? She wondered as she uncuffed him.

"Nah.. I knew you were going to come back whether I told you to leave or not." Flynn says, shaking his head. But he smiles towards her, "Thanks." Before she could respond, all the guards started flooding out from every building around the gallows. As they reached Odette and Flynn, Flynn whistled as loud as he can. Max, formerly known as Maximus, barrels through all of them, reaching to Odette and Flynn. Flynn jumps on and pulls Odette up with him as Max bucks a few of the guards.
"Rider!" Mr. Silver screamed, pushing through all of them. His face looked even more red by the second and his face swelled. Flynn leaned close to Max's ear and said, "Steppy time Max." Max understood perfectly as he charged into Mr. Silver, nearly running him over. Flynn looks back and gives Mr. Silver a See-ya-later! look as they galloped away.

(Ooc and into the sunset....XDD can we continue or are just gonna end it there?)

Odette hung on and was relieved when Flynn directed them as far away from the warehouse as he could. Odette tapped him on the shoulder, signaling him that he should stop. He did so reluanctly and watched as she dismounted gracefully. Odette whistled and shortly her mare Honey arrived, she smirked in Flyyn's direction before she mounted. "We should keep going, at least before they catch onto us." She pointed out.

Flynn nods. "There's a village right before Nirethia. We can stop there and go our seperate ways from there." Max starts galloping once more.

Odette spurred Honey on after Flynn and smiled as Honey broke into a faster gallop, they caught up to Flynn and Maximus. She sent a little wave in his direction before she urged Honey on a faster pace. Soon however Flynn had caught up with her and they raced towards the village. They tied one another in their race as they pulled up towards the little town, "Well Flynn...perhaps we can do this again sometime?" She asked as she smiled breathlessly in his direction. The ride had winded her but it had been well worth it.

"You can bet on that." He winks before swiftly stealing back his satchel. He grins before levetating his hand towards her. "It was fine working for you Odette."

She smiled warmly back at him as she accepted his hand and shook it, "Likewise, don't be a stranger." She added as she pulled her hand back.

"No promises." Flynn smirks before giving her the same send off as he did with Mr. Silver before he and Max disappeared into the forest.

Odette shook her head and urged Honey onward, she had things she needed to do.
