Story: Dimitri is one of the youngest candidates to have joined the court, having only been 18 when he became a part of it. Many had questioned as to how a mere boy had managed his way into the group, but no one had never really minded it. Dimitri had proven himself be useful with his own and fast ways of thinking and acting, that way having helped catching very dangerous criminals. And on top of that, everyone saw him as a nice and charming young man, who only wanted what was best for the city and its people.
But that’s exactly what he wants everyone to think. Behind that sweet and caring smile of his was a greedy and power-hungry man, never satisfied and always craving for more.
He had quickly worked his way up until he was one of the most wealthiest and powerful men in Nirethia, besides from Fa and the royals. That still wasn’t enough for him though, and was always against the other rulers, but not for the same reasons as the other council members. With the royals gone, more power there would for him to take.
Dimtri was adopted by a wealthy noble when he was around 8 years old, his adoptive father having left no traces about his life before. After the man had passed away soon after Dimitri’s 18eth birthday, the boy inherited everything and from there on worked his way up to the higher ups until he got where he is today.
What everyone thought to be a loving and caring relationship between father and son is just a cover up for the real truth the man wanted to hide for his reputation.
Dimitri was born in a poor family, with parents who had a lot of debts. The this rich noble had started to take an interest in him and his younger sister. He then began to pay the family visits, always bringing them gifts. His parents, desperate for ways to get rid of their debts always welcomed the man with open arms, ignoring the man’s real intentions.
Then one day he offered the parents something they hadn’t been able to refuse. An awful amount of many in exchange for one of the kids. They ended up selling their own son.
As the years went by, Dimitri learnd how to benefit from the man's assault. If he was a 'good boy', he'll get rewared. In the end he managed to turn things around until it he who was using the other.
All of this is buried though, and no one has the slightes ide of what really wne ton in that household, he's made sure of that. he knew a good reputation was always important for powerful people like him.
Something that's always perked his interest is crimes, and he's always eager when it come to cathing a certain criminal. It's like he knows how thye'r thinking, and therefor is always excited when it comes to solving a case. Not because it's for the better and saftey of the people, but beacuse it fascinates him.
Personality: Cunning, smug, greedy, power hungry, emphatic, optimistic, observant, quick-witted and one hell of a good actor. An egoistic bastard who will stop at nothing until he gets what he wants. He acts like a caring and charming gentleman most of the time, especially when it’ll only end up with him gaining something out from it, and he never feels the slightest guilt or regret. He knows what people wants, and offers to give it or help them, but always for a price he see fit.
Family & Relationships:
Jane Porter - Younger sister: As childern and before they were separeted, they were both very close to each other, especially since their parents were always busy and almost never paid any attention to them. But his strong feelings for her slowy died away after being sold off. Now they would have to start all over, if he even found that worthy of his time that is.
Marina - firendly rivarly. They both enjoy to tease each other. She's one of the very few people he honsetly doens't mind at all or sees as some tool to use.
Vanessa - childhood firend. Though 'friends' wouldn't exactly be the word to describe them now. She's the only one who knows Dimitri's real nature and ways of dealing with people, but she has kept this secret to herself for some reason.
