One Small Favor (shared AU fanfic with Mikey/Dimitri)

Odette rocked Alice in her arms as Alex was already fast asleep and lightly kissed her forehead as she hummed a soft tune. Once Alice was fast asleep, Odette laid her down in the crib and smiled warmly down at both of them before she moved to reluctantly leave the room. It was always difficult for her to leave them alone for very long....she didn't want anything to happen to them. She moved to her room and changed into her nightgown, after she had brushed her teeth she headed to her own bed. It didn't take long for her to fall asleep and it also wasn't long before she sat bolt upright in bed feeling dread fill her whole body. Something was wrong...she got up and hurried to check on the twins. She already had a feeling of what lay past the door when she opened it. Both cribs empty and the twins...gone Odette let out a choked sob. "A...Alex...Alice?" She whispered and sank to her knees not even registering the room spinning around her. Her eyes filled with tears and she started sobbing, where were her babies? This was all her fault...if she had stayed in the room her children would still be safe She couldn't breathe..."N...no." She whimpered as she felt her whole world start to collapse....what was she going to do? She felt....so lost...h...how could she move on?

A shadow loomed over her after the door creaked open to the room, studying her broken form on the floor. He glanced over at the empty cribs and quickly figured the whole thing out. This time the woman surely wouldn't be able to move on. A strong, rough hand touched her shoulder, though the man wasn't expecting for her to react. With one quick movement he had dragged her back up to her feet, turned her around to face him, though the night light was hiding his face pretty well. "Don't just give up" he ordered roughly, holding her shoulders tightly and lightly shaking her, as if trying to keep her awake from her own nightmare. Snorting, he lifted her up and wordlessly carried her outside to his horse. If he left alone in this state, she'd end her own misery before he'd have time to even find out who the culprit was. Yes, he was actually going out of his way to find whoever this bastard was, because he didn't want this woman to cut her wrists open again. She'd just have to stay at her friend's place and being watched over, whether she liked it or not. That gypsy would have to do for now. She seemed capable of handling the stubborn blond, being too stubborn herself.

Esmeralda didn't even have time to blink before Odette was shoved against her, nor have time to scream insults or empty threats at Michael who simply turned back to his horse. She shut up though when he gave her his infamous cold stare that promised pain if she didn't keep Odette out of harm's way. Sighing, she hugged her friend and glared back at Michael who had already taken off into the night.

Odette barely even registered Michael pulling her to her feet, she just met his gaze with her own lost and dazed expression. "They're gone." She whimpered and when he led her onto his horse she almost tried getting off the horse but then gave up.....her children couldn't come back on their own. When she saw Esme she just clung to her not exactly sure what to say or do....she was a failure

Joseph had followed Michael at a distance and neared his horse next to his, "So she lost her children now huh?" He asked with a smirk as he glanced back at Esmeralda's place.

Micheal didn't reply, just kept his horse runnign faster, apparently already having a destination in mind. He didn't care thta his brother might be overjoyed by this, or would try and stop him from getting back. He was just doing what he always did. Doing whatever the hell he wanted. Once he arrived at the giant mansion of the council memeber, he still hadn't spoek a word (no surprise there) and dismounted his horse, not waiting to see what joseph would do as he wlake dop tot he door and kicked it open.

Joseph raised an eyebrow at the way how Michael kicked the door down with ease, he could tell Michael was bound and determined to get the twins back. He shook his head and dismounted before he came up behind Michael, "So why are we here?" He asked as he glanced at him.

most of the servant wasn't give time to scream before their head was cut off. mhcela only killed those who tried to stop him or stood in the way, he wans't here for a good time after all. "This guys's been quite facinated by us, wouldn't surprise me if he got intrested in those brats as well," he mutterd while wlaking in the long halls thta never seemed to end. "question is, whar are YOU here?"

Joseph shrugged, "Got bored....besides I like watching heads roll." He said as Michal did just that to some person who had tried stopping Michael. Not only that but he knew exactly why the twins had been taken and he wanted to see the person who had done it.

Fianlly reaching the last door, no seconds were wasted as he pushed it open, noticing to his slight surprise that it wans't locked.

Dimitri sat on his king sized bed, smirking slyly while holding a toy above the twins head, having it so they could almost reach it. "The boy sure is a wild one, " he chuckled as Alex squeeld in delight, trying to grabb the toy. "Must eb taking after his uncle no? And she will surley grow up to be a 'daddy's girl'.

Micheal's face stayed unchagned as he stuided the surprinsly young man on the bed with his kids, tkaing notice of how quiet the girl was being. She wans't... was she?

Joseph could take some pleasure in knowing that he was the unexpected guest to the council members little plan. "So this is what cowards do? Steal babies just so they can meet with someone they idolize. You know...I think I know your sister, works at the palace...has a disease...wonder what would happen if she met Michael? No? He'd kill her and enjoy and I would make sure you watched." He said flatly as he folded his arms, the only reason he hadn't killed him yet was because of what he had...no doubt hidden somewhere far away.

Dimitri didn't look threatned or worried about the older twins threat. This was one of the reasons these two fascinated him after all, how they seemed to know everythig little thing and was always oen step ahead. So of course he'd be prepared for this. Chuckling he let go of the toy and let Alex play with it and stood up from the bed. "I am many things," he said simply, smikring at the Korso's. "I just really wanted to meet one of you, and Joseph atggin along just makes this little meeting more.... exciting," he grinned wickedly. Micheal still hasn't said anything. He knew he could easily just kill the young man off and be over and done with this whole thing, however, he ahd the feeling he would miss soemthing very important if he did just that....

Joseph snorted unamused and folded his arms, "If you want something just say it." He growled largely unimpressed with the council member.

"You always like doing the tlaking for you brother huh?" he stated, giving the older Korso a sly smirk. he turend to Micheal, who's eyes were locked on the babies on the bed, or more so on the girl who was being a little to quiet for his taste. "She's just sleeping," DImitri spoke up calmly. "Though for how long I don't know. Being so small with that kind of dieses, well, they never last long." Micke's eyes narrowed and finally turne dhis attention to the young council member. Alice was sick? More thna just bad luck, he was sure that it must've been from him... if it turned otu she had the same sickness, Odette will msot likely only end up with one twin. He sighend and clsoed his eys for a second as he rubbed his head. He couldn't belvie he was actully doing this... "Name your price." Dimitri's smile grew. "well that was dissapointingly easy~"

Joseph's eyes narrowed at Michael's words, what the hell was Michael thinking? "No." He said flatly as he stared at his brother. "Don't do what he wants Michael:" he growled.

Miceahl didn't reply this time either, just keept staring at the man infront of them darkly, demanding him to spit whatever the hell he wanted out fast. Dimitri just chuckled again and sat back down on the bed, watching with intreset as Alex had grown tired of the toy and was now clining on to his sleeping twin. "I just want you to own em one really, a mna like you could be of some sue late ron on after all," he smirked darkly. Micke was expeting something like this, but he had never let himself get used like that... that would be weak, pathetic and disgusting. "I'll give you the cure in return," Dim continued. "Thoguh i doubt you give up yoursle flike for your own daughter. We all know you realy don't care that much." "...." "Oh? you're actully considering it?"

Joseph had never wanted to kill someone more since Kent but now....now he was seeing red and he was pretty sure his fists had tightened even more. He vaguely felt blood seep under his nails but he didn't feel the pain all he was anger, "You're making a big mistake." He snarled at Dimitri barely keeping his focus.

Dimitri studied Jospeh with interest, looking only amused and very excited about the whole situatuion. "I'm not the one considering gving myslef up like some object here," he shrugged. "You barinwashed your brother quit well Korso." Micheal held out his arm and stopped Joseph before he could stranggle the man. "Does that shit really work?" asked lowly, refering to the cure Dimitri was talking about. He might as well be lying about the whole thing, but the thign is Micke could tell whens omeoen was lying, and this guy was not... Dimitri looked back at the younger of the two. "It won't take away the diesease, however it will keep her alive." Then this would eb worht it....

If Joseph had been mad before he was now downright furious....fucking bastard he wanted nothing more then to strangle him. No not strangle...maim, and then kill his fucking sister maybe rape her too just for the hell of it. He could barely keep from pushing past Michael to deal with the bastard himself.

"So what you're saying is that you want me to be your tool?" he askd flatly, afce still expressionless and pushed Jospeh abck a little, taking a few steps forward.
Dimtiri titled his head. "Not liek your brother dearest here likes to treat you, but yeah sort of.All i'm askign for will be a few favours. and as payment, you'll egt moreof this cure to give your girl. The more she takes, the less pain she'll feel gorwing up and the chnaces of ehr dyig would be much smaller as well. Sounds good no, don't you think so too Jospeh?"

"Honestly I'd prefer the one getting the cure to be Michael and not the brat." He growled darkly.

"Oh yeah, should probably mention it's not strong enough to help your toy- I mean brother," he stated. "He's ahd this his whole life, and wouldn't do shit if he took it now. Too late for Mickey, but not for Alice."
Micheal narrowed his eyes. He didn't care about egtting himself cured anyway... he just wanted to give Odette her children back... their chidlern back...

Joseph snorted darkly, "Well that's convienent for you isn't it?" He asked darkly as he glared at Dimitri.

"Jospeh," Micke suddenly spoke up, gicing his brother a hard, yet pleading look. "Don't interfere..."
Dimitri could abrley contain his laughter. Oh this turned out so much better than he tought! The Korso twins, here at his feet, and doing a shit about it.

Joseph mef his brother's gaze with his own hard determined one, "Fine...but if he's lying, I won't heistate to kill him." He said flatly.

"He's not laying," Micke said imediently, loking abkc at them an who was still tyring to contain his laughter.
"You two are amking everything so much more fun!" he laughed in delgith. "Don't worry MIckey, i won't aks you tod o things you don't like. I'm sure you'll enjoy the small favours I'll ask of you.Like gettign rid of certain people. Powerful people."

Joseph actually growled when he called Michael that, "Call him that again and I really will kill you." After all why should he care about the twins?
