One Night (AU Fanfic tags: Jim)

She frowned and moved to stand next to him before she lightly placed her hand on his arm, "Hey, you saved my life Jim.....that still makes you a good guy in my book." She said quietly.

"Good, bad, there's nofukcign diffrence between those things," he mutterd.

She frowned, "Yes there is....Jim please, I don't want to lose you...not like this." She said quietly.

He turned around to face her, only now seeing how close they were. "Stop worrying so much over me," he murmured.

She frowned and stared at him, "I can't....like I've said before I care about you too much." She said quietly.

"How much?"
He didn't mean to ask that out loud, but now that he did he din't care anyway.

Her eyes softened, "Enough....I care enough to help you however I can Jim." She said quietly.

He scoffed. "Yeah sure, you only feel that beacuse had to deal with the same people growing up."

Her eyes narrowed, "That's not fair Jim." She said quietly and with some disappointment in her voice as she turned to leave. "Is it so hard to believe that someone actually cares for you? The real you?" She asked softly.

"The real me...?" he shaked his head. "Odette, waht you just saw is the real me."

She shook her head, "No it isn't Jim....maybe if you believed in yourself a bit more...you could see what I see." She said quietly.

2Stop talking like you know me," he snapped. "You don't understand what's going on my head all the time. It's nto about me beliving in myself or that shit..."

She shook her head, "Fine, give up then!" She snapped and turned around to glare at him. "Just know that I am not going to stand by and watch." She said with tears pricking at the corners of her eyes.

"Don't cry."
He hand't to say that so harsly or demanding. but eh couldn't stand tears, especially not right now.

She held the tears back and glared at him, "Why? Are you afraid of how you'll feel if you see them?" She demanded angrily.

"Maybe."
He took a few steps back from her beofre turnign around. "I've watsd my time here, i'm going back," he mutterd.

She shook her head, "Whatever." She said quietly and wiped the tears away. She was so tired of this....whatever this was....

((*cough* if you want something to happen, Jim won't take the first step x'D sorry I'll be quiet now^^))


"Go home to your captain already, before he freaks out again," Jim mumbled, rubbing his neck.
Whyw did almsot all their conversation's end like this?

Odette glared at him and walked towards him, "He doesn't own me just yet...besides why do you care?" She asked darkly. He was so frusterating sometimes....

"The reason you care maybe?!" he hissed. "Like you said, we're firends right? Aren't firends suppose to care about soemthing liek that? Oh forget it, i'm out of here."

She glared and then grabbed his arm to stop him, "Oh no....I thought you said you didn't want that. So I'm going to ask again, why do you care?" She demanded, their faces were closer now, Odette was too angry to really notice though.

He glared back at her, eyes growing darker by the second. "Let go Odette," he said demanding.

She wasn't phased by his darkening expression as she had grown too used to seeing it on the Korso's. "No." She said simply and before she could change her mind, she kissed him.

He was shocked to suddenly egt kissed y her, but instead of pushing her away, he wrapped his arms around her pressed their bodies closer togheter.
He didn't want think anymore anyway.
