Another rough night

Odette rolled her eyes, "I'm not saying anything." She said firmly, even if wine was at stake here.

"Are you sure?" Phoebus asked with a little lower voice as he shaked the bottle a little.
"It's almost empty... It's your last chance"

Odette scowled, "I hate you." She said untruthfully, "Again no." She said even as she knew she was going to miss her wine.

"Well.. Okaay then.." Phoebus sighed and shook his head before he drank up everything from the bottle- of course he could always go down and get another one- but he wouldn't tell her that now..
"So.. How much do you hate me?" He teased and laid his arm around her and kissed her cheek

Odette moved his arms off of her, "I'm not saying." She said simply, it was quite stupid that he was acting like a child over something as small as a secret.

Phoebus chuckled slightly and sneaked his arms around her again and held her tightly so that she couldn't escape.
"Well, I love you very much" He smiled and looked at her over her shoulder. "Please don't be mad at me"

She winced as his arms tightened around her, "It seems like you have to work on your apology." She commented.

"What do you want me to do? Be on my knees again?" He asked with a little chuckle.
"Because I would do that if it makes you happy"

Odette wished he would just let her go, she could feel the pain start to rise again but she didn't say anything. "No." She whispered.

"Then what?.." Phoebus asked with a smile, but it soon disappeared.
"Odette, I'm sorry if I went to far with the whole Esmeralda thing.. I didn't want to make you upset.." He said with a little frown since she wasn't as glad she was a moment ago

Odette didn't say anything, she could feel the blood start to pulse again. "Phoebus....please let me go, you're making it bleed again." She said quietly.

"I'm so sorry, Odette" Phoebus said after he had let her go and stood up so that he could really see her and the wound.
"Why didn't you said I hurted you? Gosh, Odette.. I'm so sorry"

Odette just bit her lip, "Its ok but I need to get it rebandaged." She said softly, not really looking at him as she said it.

"yes, of course.. I will go and get some" Phoebus hurried down the stairs to find some more bandage - and even picked up a new bottle of wine when he was downstairs.
"Do you need help with it?" He asked as he came back to the room and sat down on the floor infront of her

She shook her head stiffly, "No I got it." She said and unraveled the other bandages which were now sticky with her blood. She made a face and grabbed some more before she wrapped the wound making sure to bind it tight enough to stop the blood flow.

"Oh.. Okay" Phoebus nodded and stood up as she started to take care of the "mess" he had done. He took a deep breath as he leaned towards a desk on the other side of the room.
"I'm sorry, Odette. I just forgot.."

Odette paused what she was doing, "I know you did." She said quietly before she resumed her actions. When she was finished she took the soiled bandages and sighed, "Do you have someplace I can dispose of these?" She asked.

"Just-- put them in the bucket and I will take care of it later.." Phoebus nodded towards the bucket with water he used to clean her wound with before, but didn't moved from his place.

She nodded and put the bandages in the bucket before she sat back down on the bed. "Look I'm sorry I got upset." She said quietly.

"Don't be.. I -- went to far.. I'm sorry" Phoebus said and looked down. He truly hated himself for not knowing that he hurted her, maybe even in more than just one way..

Odette stared at him confused, "Why are you so upset?" She asked and got up to face him.

"I'm not.. I just--" Phoebus sighed and shook his head.
"I can't believe that I hurted you. I mean, I know you've a wound - I even cleaned it just a moment ago" He said and ran his hand through his hair.
"it always seems like I make something wrong when I'm with you.. I say something, I do something.. I can't help it"

Odette frowned, "I don't think I like where this is going." She whispered.

"What? No, this isn't going anywhere" Phoebus looked up at her fast and shook his head.
"I'm just saying -- how it is.. I don't want you to think that I'm trying to hurt you or make you sad.. It just happends"

She nodded but she was still unsure of his response, "Look if you want, we can take it slower and see if we're still having...issues." She said as she tried to find the right phrase for it.
