Another rough night

"No, I don't want us to take it slower" Phoebus said once again fast and walked closee to her.
"Do you want to take it slower? because I really didn't mean to hurt you with the wound and everything"

Odette shook her head, "Well no I don't but I was just asking." She said quietly as she stared up at him.

"okay.. But can you please tell me whenever you feel upset so that I know? No matter what it is about.. I don't want you to get more hurt because of me" Phoebus sighed and stroked her arms

She smiled slowly, "All right, I'll tell you." She said as she met his gaze.

"Is there something that bothers you again?" Phoebus sighed and frowned.
"I can see it in your eyes that something is wrong"

She frowned, "There's nothing wrong, just please stop asking me to tell you secrets about Esme." She begged, even though it was all in teasing, she didn't like doing that.

"I have stopped, and I said I was sorry.." Phoebus shrugged and took a step backwards.
"I know I crossed the line and I'm sorry"

She nodded, "I know you are, and that's really it." She said honestly.

"What do you mean?.. Do you want me to do something more?" he asked a little confused and leaned towards the desk again

She shook her head, "No." She said quietly as she studied him before she moved to sit on the bed.

"So why does it seems like you're still upset because of me?! I want to make everything good again" Phoebus said as he sat down beside her and laid his hand gently on her back

She sighed and leaned more into his touch, "I'm not upset...really I'm not." She whispered.

"So what's wrong? Does the wound hurt? Are you hungery?" Phoebus asked with a worried frown and stroked his hand up and down over her back before he laid it gently on her waist

She smiled, "Its only a little sore, nothing I'm not used too and I'm fine." She said as she leaned over and kissed him on the cheek.

"Okay.. Good" Phoebus nodded and forced a little smile.
"But you must be tired, maybe you should get some sleep?!"

Odette nodded, "Sleep does sound nice." She admitted with a sad smile as she lightly squeezed his hand.

"Okay.." Phoebus said once again, and couldn't help but feel that something was still wrong.
"I hope you don't mind that I sleep next to you" He chuckled slightly while he jumped over to the middle of the bed and lifted the blanket så that she could come and lay down beside him

She smiled and joined him, she curled up against him, "I don't mind." She said with a little smile as she lay next to him.

Phoebus smiled as she laid down beside him and put his arms gently around her- he didn't want to her her again
"Good Night" He whispered and kissed her softly

She kissed him back, "Good night." She whispered before she rested her head against his chest and slowly fell asleep.
