Stop pretending [Tag Phoebus]

Jim mutterd under his breath as he pushed the kithcen door open with his back, his hands and arms full with trays with food and beer. Bad day to choose to help out in the tavern, it was one of those nights full with drunk and singing people, for not to tlak about fights. Nothing new there.

Phoebus drank some from his beer as he looked around at all the people in there - and stopped when he saw the Hawkins kid.. He thought about the talk he had with John- and figured that he should talk to Jim too- just to see what he was like. And they haven't really talked before.
"Busy day, eh?" He said to Jim when he saw that he was finally free for a little chat.
"And no cute girls today- what a shame" Phoebus smiled and leaned back to his chair

Jim almost dropped the last beer he had over the waiting customer reaching for it.
He frowned and looked over his shoulder. "Captain Doofus, what a pleasure," he said sarcasticly and slammed the beer down on the table. "No need to be jealous, you got your hands full with a certain blond."

Phoebus flinched by the kids answer and raised an eyebrow. He knew that Jim didn't liked knights- but still..
"You mean Odette?!" He asked. How come everyone knew about them when it was supposed to be secret?!!!
"So you know her?"

Jim smirked and took a seat on the other side of the table the knight was seated at. Work could wait a few minutes.
"You mean she didn't tell ya?" he taunted. "Me and her go a long way back togheter. To be frank,I know her better than anyone in this town."

"Well.. I know that both of you knows your father and uncle.." Phoebus said and leaned his arms towards the table.
"So I guess you almost grow up with her by your side?"

His smirk fell. What..? Did this guy know who his father was?
Don't tell me Odette told them...?
"The fuck you know about those two?" he snarled and leand back in his chair.
He glanced around the tavern. "And no, can't say I grew up by her side."

"They are hard to miss..." Phoebus said shortly back and raised an eyebrow.
"So how does the past for you two look like then?.."

( I know Oddie<3 And damn it, more reason for Jim to dislike him x'D)

The teen glared darkly at the grown man. "And I should tell you... why?" he snorted and looked away again. "Just beacuse you're fucking her doesn't mean you need to pry around her past. I'm sure you know more than shed liek you too know already."

"Because I love her, that's why.. and I think you like her too, otherwise you wouldn't act like this when you're talking about her" Phoebus said and crossed his arms over his chest slightly - and with his eyebrow still raised.
"And how did you know about her and me? Did Odette tell you?"

He rolled his eyes. There someone goes again, thinking they'd unserstood how Jim felt or thought about things.
"Kinda, though I figured out the important details of it myself. You're kind useless you know?" his voice got lower. "You're suppose to protect her, yet everytime I see her she's got new wounds on her. For someone who claims to love her you sure are doing a poor job."

Phoebus leaned back into his chair once again and couldn't help but believe what he said. Odette always gets hurt- even though he was with her.. But he can't be around her all the time either..
"Do you think I like to see her get hurt?" He almost hissed as he leaned closer to the kid again.
"And it's people like you who're hurting her, think about that next time you're beating someone up.-- I think you are just a few fights away from being like your father!" Phoebus said and tilted his head to the side a little.

The table was suddenly punshed aside, almost hitting one of the drunk customers. Jim had punched the captain across the face and pushed him down on the floor, his fists shaking violently with anger as he held Phoebus by the collar.
"I'm not like that monster!" he roared out in his face. "Don't you ever fucking say that again...!"
How dare he....how dare he..?!

Phoebus wasn't even shocked when Jim acted like he did, he knew what he said and how he would react. He also knew that this kid would never like him again-- even if he never did from the start
"You know, I wonder what Odette will say when she finds out you hit her boyfriend?.." Phoebus couldn't help but tease him some more- and he wanted to stop, but couldn't. Phoebus smiled up at him and shrugged - he would let this kid play for a moment...

The snorted, not worried in the least what Odette might think. "If that's suppose to scare me off, try harder Doofus," he spat and stood up. "She knows I dislike you, hell you disgust me..."
He lifted up the table and garbbed on to it, trying to control his anger that threated to get out of control. He couldn't go crazy here... Not here of all places.

"Why do I disgust you?" Phoebus asked with a frown as he sat down on his chair again like nothing happend. He was actually a little suprised that the fight ended so fast..
"You haven't met me before, so how do you know who I am?"

"Oh please, you really that slow?" he gave hima look. "You're the freaken captain of the guards! Everyone knows who you are! Geez, slow with his action AND slow in the head."
He heard the kitchen door open and cursed when his mother peeked out, a worried expression on her face. Of course she had heard Jim's outburst.

"No, you know what I am.. Not who I am.." Phoebus smirked and and winked at his mother as he saw that she looked that them.
"But apperently I'm good enough for Odette- that must mean something, don't you think?"

"I could ask you the saem thing," he shot back. "Oh wait, I'm kinda popluar, unlike you, so never mind."
He was about to keep throwing insluts at him but stopped as he felt a familiar hand on his shoulder, holding him. Crap.
"Please don't tell me punshed you?" his mother asked dissapointed and bowed in apology at Phoebus. "Please, do forgive him Captain," she begged.

Phoebus raised his eyebrow again by his comment, but when his mother came over to them - he smiled widely and bowed to the woman.
"Don't you worry- Ma'am. It was just a misunderstanding.. But if young Jim here just apologize to me, I will forgive this whole thing ever happened.." Phoebus smiled at the lady, but smirked as he looked at Jim again
