"But I've no one to talk to. Or at least no one I want to talk to." Ariel sighed as she thought about it.
"Maybe I can go to that new Reverend we met at the ball.. He can maybe help me.."

His eyes widend in alarm. "Are ya crazy?!" he burts out. "That guy is only after sex, he's just as bad as Eric I'm sure! and he's got power. No, just no. Cna't you tlak with Punz or Lina? Or... maybe Sarah..."

"But he's a Reverend, he wouldn't do things like that.." Ariel frowned a little uncertain, but remembered what has happened at the ball with Frollo. For once she should maybe listen to him.
"I don't want to talk to them.. And if would only feel weird to discuss it with your mom.." Ariel shurgged slightly

He sighend in relief wehn it looke dlike she wouldn't go that creep, and made a silent pray that she's stay away from that old man.
"Oh.. ok then... but there must be someone who'd you can talk to right?"

Ariel just shook her head and glanced down. Even though she had friends, she still couldn't talk about something like that to them. Maybe it would be best to talk to somehow she didn't know- like the Reverend, but she should stay away from him.
"I guess this is just something I need to keep to myself.." She shrugged.
"But maybe if you're with me when I goes to that Frollo? Not in the same room, but if you're there, he wouldn't do something- right?!"

Jim resisted the urge to facepalm. "He's a powerfull old perv who cna do whatever the hell he wants," he tried to explain calmy. "He would have me arrested, beaucse I'm sure he knows who I ma and what I did by now. So no, end of discustion."

"but.." Ariel started before she looked down again. How could he know that? He had only met him once..
"Then I guess I just have to find someone else to talk with.." She said quietly in a sigh.

"Please let it be someone you know then," he said wiht worried and pleading eyes. "And not some old creep wiht power..."

"OKay.. fine.." She nodded before she walked over to the bed and sat down. She wanted to prove him wrong, but that didn't worked out so well last time. And Frollo didn't know who Jim was, they had only met once!
"Eric never mention me, right?" She asked carefully.
"Or Odette?"

"No he didn't," he sighend and then a thoguth struck him. "Perhaps you and Odette could talk... she'll understand you better thna anyone," he suggested, looking quite pleased with the idea himself.

"Odette?" Ariel asked and remembered the blonde woman from the ball.
"I-- I don't know, Jim. She has been through a lot more than I, so it will probably just turn out to be me comforting her.." She frowned, but didn't mean it of course. She thought it would be easier to talk to someone she didn't knew, but now when they found one- it only seemed weird.

He took a seat next to her on the bed, gently stroking her arm. "she needs someone to tlak to as well, yes. But she'll litsen to you, and help you. It's beaucse she's been trhoguh so much that she'll understand you much better," he spoke softly. "You can... always give it a try. But I won't make you, it's only if you want too."

Ariel glanced at him before she nodded with sigh.
"Fine, okay.. I can give it a try.." She shrugged. She didn't know really what she should say to the other woman, but maybe it turnes out to be something good in the end.
"Have you met her after what Eric has done to her?" Ariel asked carefully

He looked down. He could't help but feel guilty, even thoguh he hadn't aythign to do with it this time. "Yes I did," he sighend. "She still manages to surprise me that girl," he chuckled lightly. "She keeps on going wiht life, like the abd stuff never happed."

".. Do you mean that I don't?" She asked and glanced at him. She hated herself for always finding the bad things that other people said, even though they don't mean it like that.

"What..?"
He raised an eyebrow and shaked his head. Ariel always seemed to get his words the wrong way. "Of course I don't. You're one of the strogest people I know," he said hosetly. "And you should by now what i mean with that."

"Well- yeah.. But it just sounded like--" She stopped there and sighed before she nodded slightly with a little smile.
"I know. I'm sorry.." Ariel said as she ran one hand through her hair.
"I can't help that I'm so negative all the time. I guess it's just better to suspect the bad first, so that you don't get so upset if it is that.."

"That's one way to see thigs I guess," he couldn't help but chuckle. "But won't that only get you derpessed much faster and more often?" he asked gently and leaed his face closer to hers. "You really should stop doubting yourself so much."

"Maybe.. But I don't really know how to change.." She said with a shrugg, but smiled when he came closer.
"I'm used to that bad things happends to me. You are the only thing that I can be happy about in life.."

"You don't need to change who you are, just give your confidece a little harder push," he snickerd.
He held back a blush and smiled warmly at her. "Now I know you're exagerating."

Ariel tilted her head a little to the side before she shook it.
"It's true. Just name one other thing that truly is something good in my life.." She said and raised an eyebrow a bit challenging.
"I survive with what I have, but I want to live my life. Not worrying about if I still have roof over my head the next day or food on the table.."

He frowed at her challeging tone, and honestly did't know what to say. What did she want him to say? No matter what he told her she would't take his words seriously anyhow.
"You kow you always ahve a home here," he mumbled and drew back. "Sarah adores you, you know..."

"She can't take care of me, or us - for forever.. We both know that" Ariel said in a sigh before she took his hand in hers.
"But I know that as long you're by my side, I don't need all the things in the world to be happy - I already have you" She smiled softly.
"And I'm really glad that you want to take a job that you didn't liked from the start to earn more money for us. Even though you kile it now.." She giggled

He gave her hands a squeeze when she took his in hers. he knew she was right, but still...
"You're words are way to sweet for me," he chuckled warmly. "Though it really makes me glad... hearing you say that."
