Once Upon A Dream (tags: Charming)

"Cheater!" Philip called after Aurora as he pushed Amber forward, a light laugh in his voice as he grinned brightly after the blonde. He continued to urge Amber faster and faster, keeping track of how she was doing, and soon was right on Samson and Aurora's tail.

Aurora laughed and glanced back at him, winking as he closed in on her and Samson. She urged Samson to to faster and waved at Phillip as she urged Samson on.

Philip made a face at Aurora as she waved back at him, laughing joyfully before turning serious and pushing Amber a bit faster. Amber's head had reached Aurora's foot and Philip smirked up at Aurora before pushing Amber just a bit farther to be neck and neck with Samson, at which point Philip reached over and mussed Aurora's hair quickly, smiling smugly. He then took his reins in both hands again, grinning brightly over to Aurora and laughing lightly, before looking back ahead of him, watching as they got closer and closer to the back gate of the castle.

She had made a startled noise when he had ruffled her hair and then once they neared the gate Aurora bent down and whispered some encouragement to Samson. His stride lengthened and Aurora shot Phillip a wide smile as they passed by him and Amber before they reached the gate first.

Philip watched after Aurora in surprised amusement, with wide eyes and an open mouth grin as he let out a short throaty laugh in slight disbelief, as a short of show, but then he started laughing more genuinely. Once Aurora and Samson cleared the gate, Philip slowed Amber's trot and then brought her into a walk, patting her neck gently. "You did good girl," he murmured to her encouragingly, leaning forward closer to her head. As he sat back up he grinned brightly over to Aurora, shaking his head slightly towards the ground as he chuckled softly, and then smirking back up at her, looking at her through his lashes. "Congratulations cheater," he called up to her teasingly and making a face at her.

Aurora threw a smile back at him, "Why thank you slowpoke." She called back over to him teasingly. "I must say I think Samson's love for carrots is what secured my win." She said with a little smirk.

"You may be on to something there," Philip agreed, laughing lightly, as he gave Amber a gentle pat again. "So what does the winner want as their prize?" he asked in a playfully grand tone, leading Amber into a slow trot to catch up to Aurora and Samson, slowing her to a walk again when they came up beside the other two, smiling gaily over to Aurora.

She smirked over at him, "Hmmm I'm not exactly sure yet....any ideas?" She asked playfully as she studied him. She had a few ideas but she didn't know how Phillip would react to it.

"Hm..." Philip looked off thoughtfully, playing it up jokingly. He then smirked over to Aurora, before laughing lightly and looking at his hands. "You know how this works. You name a prize, and I oblige," he said simply, still laughing, looking over at Aurora again shyly. He was confused. She seemed really...Unsure...About something...Something she wanted to ask him? What she wanted as her prize? They had raced many times before, and at least half of those races, she had won. They always just had it be small prizes. The loser gives the winner a back rub, or makes them a sandwich, or whatever. So, what could she want that she wasn't sure about asking for?

She laughed, "Well then you have to give me a back massage." She said as she thought about something that would be well....nice for her besides her back was slightly sore. She did have a slight ulterier motive for this but that was besides the point....or that was what she was telling herself.

"As you wish mi'lady," Philip said with a slight bow, his worry not completely satiated, but he pushed pass it, trying to make his body relax again. He smiled contentedly over to Aurora before turning his attention back in front of him, noticing that they were just about at the stables.

Once they were only several feet from the stables, Philip smoothly brought Amber to a stop and dismounted. He took his reins in his hand and gave Amber's neck a few soft pats before he walked around to the right of the horse to look over at Aurora. "Why don't we untack and brush these guys off and put them away and then we can go to our tree and you can collect your reward huh?" he suggested lightly with a bright grin, winking over to her as he slowly started off backwards towards the stables, Amber following him.

She was grateful he had gone ahead as she was worried that he might have seen her blush but she hastily dismounted Samson and started to lead him back into the stable. She knew the walk would help rid her of the redness in her face as she kept moving gently leading Samson back to the stable.

Philip turned forward again after smirking fondly back at Aurora, chuckling softly and looking ahead as he headed into the stables, and made his way into Amber's stall. He managed to remove her saddle and bridle quickly and moved on to brushing her off, taking his time with this task. "Good girl," he whispered every so often as he ran the brush over her hair, following after with his hand. Once he finished with brushing her off, he gave her a final couple pats and locked her in her stall, before heading to the cupboard to put his supplies away and pick up a couple carrots. He then went over and gave one to Amber, grinning blissfully, and then he smirked amused as he looked over at Aurora, before walking over casually and leaning back against Samson's stall, twirling the other carrot with his fingers. "Are you done yet?" he asked with an over dramatic sigh, before smirking amusingly over to her.

After leading Samson back into his stall and getting rid of his saddle and bridle Aurora glanced over at Phillip and stuck her tongue out at him. "I like taking my time." She said lightly as she smirked up at him.

Philip made a playfully teasing face at Aurora before laughing and turning around to lean his arms on the top of the stall gate, poking Aurora gently in the side with the carrot he had gotten before. "Who's the slowpoke now?" he teased lightly with a light-hearted grin, holding the carrot out for Aurora to take.

She rolled her eyes and snatched the carrot from him, "Shut up Charming." She said with a smirk before she fed Samson his carrot. She patted Samson's neck and then turned to glance over at Phillip, "So I think you owe me my reward now." She said with a little playful wink at him.

Philip just laughed as Aurora took the carrot, smiling fondly as he watched her with Samson. "I do, don't I?" Philip asked with a light laugh, leaning back as he held onto the stall and then walking over to get the gate for Aurora. "Mi'lady?" he said over-dramatically as he bowed slightly and offered his hand while opening the stall gate for the blonde, smirking up playfully from his bow.

She smiled and gave a mock curtsey, "Your highness." She said with a little laugh before she accepted his hand.

Philip twirled Aurora out of the stall as he stood back up and gently into his arms, locking the gate behind her while he had his arms around her, smirking down flirtatiously at her all the while. "Alright then," he exclaimed brightly as he locked the gate, slapping the gate and then patting her shoulders, then sliding his hands down her arms and taking her hands in his. He playfully swung their arms back and forth as he grinned cheerfully down to her for several seconds before he slowly stopped. "Shall we?" he asked playfully, releasing Aurora's hands but offering his arm for her, raising his eyebrows invitingly and smiling brightly down to the blonde.

She laughed and accepted his arm, "We shall." She said teasingly as she smiled at him charmingly before winking up at him.

Philip looked down warmly at Aurora as she took his arm, bringing up his free hand to softly pat her hand, and then holding it gently before turning his face up with a gleeful grin as he started off with her out of the stables and towards their tree, a light skip in his step. The two of them had spent many hours just relaxing under this tree, located a bit behind the stables, hidden from view from the palace, the perfect place for escape.

As they came up to the tree, Philip smoothly removed Aurora's hand from his arm, giving it a light pat as he smiled sweetly down to her, and then turned and took a seat against the tree. He crossed his legs and leaned lightly back against the tree, resting his arms on his legs, his hands hanging over his knees, and smiled cheerfully up to Aurora, before patting the ground in front of him invitingly for her to sit down.
